We won’t ever have an easier run of games. Play like that against better teams and you’re in for a hiding. That should put his chances to bed now. And nobody can say he hasn’t had a fair shake.

Yet another poor performance with points thrown away at the death.
We played like a team trying to avoid relegation and if Mangan stays in post that's exactly what we can expect.
Mangan has had his chance and we now need to bring in an experienced manager.

AM and the players at the end seemed like they knew it was AMs last game in charge.
Not a convincing performance. Unlucky to concede a 2nd own goal in 2 games though as the defence seemed pretty in control most of the game.
Nothing was keeping LO defence on their toes most of the game .
Unfortunately Wilsons assist doesnt count as it was only a 2 yard layoff for ward to score.
Onto the cup...and hope we dont get embarrassed by Crewe Alex.

Imo- another game not having JCH has cost us. He'd of won the freekicks needed at the end.

Not sure how many formation changes we went through today, as with Saturday, but not sure that helps getting any momentum going.
As for going to a back 3/5 for the last 5 mins or so, just invites trouble. We have seen before how it leads to confusion at the back.

2 points thrown away, invited them on pretty much the whole of the 2nd half and then went to a back 5 to try & see the game out and got caught out. Even then Marquis should have won the game.
Winning would only have papered over the cracks though its clear now Mangan isn't the answer.
Imo vital we get manager situation sorted in time for Sat

I knew the football would end up being sh**e when Barton left but that what the minority wanted and that's what we got, no atmosphere sh** football and just rubbish.

There was a dark strip running across the box and the light from stands had a totally different shade to the floodlights. I can't imagine anything other than they didnt think through the fact the new stand would block the floodlight. |

People who thought under Barton we had too much possession and created too few chances - one of those problems seems to have been resolved
