After Tuesday night there aren’t many names that leap out as a Must start.
Hunt and Taylor, maybe Ward and Finley if available , Gordon did ok , after that I didn’t think anyone else did well.
Cox by default as not really fair to throw Jed straight in.
Hunt - Taylor - Wilson - Gordon
Finley
Ward - Evans
Thomas - Collins - Vale
Collins at least gives us pace down the middle …
I sense the upset is if we come away with our place in the draw for Round Three.

I'm probably in a minority but I wouldn't want City myself, either another lower league team and hope to progress or one of the big boys and get some good coverage before concentrating on the league. I quite liked Thomas at CM, but Brown out wide was embarrassingly poor.
Collins worth a go at CF, he played his best football leading the line for us in L2.

Plan B would be Rushall Olympic v Blyth Spartans (near Walsall, 3g pitch), plan C would be Birmingham City v Rotherham. Plan D, some Christmas shopping and a pub crawl in Birmingham! |

I thought Gordon did really well last night, he should be definitely starting imo I thought he was poor. I have noticed every time he plays, that his first instinct is to go backwards, he even throws the ball back when he takes a throw in. He cant defend either and consistently gets caught out of position. |

Apparently the covers only really work down to -3°. I've seen various reports that Crewe will experience 2 nights of -5.
Might be good for us if it is called off. Might get a few players back.
