Seriously, is this guy any better than James Connolly? I see nothing in sending Connolly out on loan and getting this slow old carthorse in. He can’t pass, can’t head and is rarely fit. Recall Connolly in January please. Plymouth released him for a reason. Totally disagree, Wilson and Taylor currently my preferred centre backs. Connolly struggled last season, Wilson has the experience we were all calling out for. |

Recall Connolly in January please. Plymouth released him for a reason. He played the majority of games for last seasons champions and they wanted to keep him. It was him, that turned them down. He's been injured and is getting back to fitness, but has still looked okay. |

Crama looked great until his injury. Since his return he doesn't seem the same player.

Shipped another 5 yesterday at the heart of Morecombe’s defence, I hear fan talk of calling him back, he’s the last thing we need!
Crama has stepped back up another level which has surprised me, Taylor incredible, we need cover for Wilson who is brilliant aerial and Connolly can’t jump and isn’t strong enough. Bobby Thomas played like Wilson and we need this sort of defender to come in.
Bringing back Connolly will weaken us, wish him all the best but he’s not what we need.

Crama and Wilson are solid and Taylor is one of the best CBs in the division. Hoole is a solid understudy for that right-sided CB role.
I’d like us to get someone in for the left - ideally left-footed. Alex Hartridge fits the bill - 24, 6’1, left footed, out of contract in the summer and Exeter so links to the boss! Connolly ain’t it for me, try and get a fee whilst we can.

Connolly is the last thing we need in that defence right now .... Cant defend, cant play put from the back, cant pass and adds nothing positive at L1 level.
Would be a real mistake to get him back in the matchday squad.
