I saw the link in the article above, the press in general are rightly asking questions and Marquis losing his rag, has fuelled speculation. The board need to sort this fiasco out soon, new gaffer required urgently.

Waste of a read TBH, telling us what we already know. Does anyone know what was said to Marquis for that reaction. We can bang on about being professional but everyone in any job on any amount of wages can react. They shouldn't but everyone has a tipping point. Was at the Yate Town v Yeovil fa cup game and the yeovil goalkeeper pretty much threatened a fan at the end of the game, Yate Town got fined so I dread to think what was said for the goalkeepers reaction |

We don’t know what was said to him. Let’s not judge without all the details.
He hasn’t dropkicked a supporter he’s just had a bit of a slanging match.
And as for that miss I was cursing his name from the terraces but watching that tweet back there was actually some good keeping going on there.
I would agree he isn’t delivering, though.

He's paid a lot of money, he's one of our highest if not the highest earner at the club. Understandable that he has come under fire for missing yet another game winning chance.
Barnsley (H), Charlton (A) (Thank god for Macca), Reading (A), Orient (H) - 6-8 points dropped because of him missing these relatively straightforward chances. 2 league goals isn't good enough for someone of his experience given the chances created for him.

Whilst I agree JM missed a few chances, especially guilt edged one at end, he is no different to most of the team.
Almost everyone had poor distribution passing and shooting on Tues, some didn't even have the bottle to shoot in first place - I remember Evans trying to thread it through first half instead of what looked to be easier chance to shoot.
Harvey Vale even got in some great crossing, but found their man so many times.
Marquis offers more than goals, he's great at the physical stuff too.
Yes he had not the best night, but in all honesty a win was undeserved, papering over some big cracks and may have prolonged a stick or twist quandary we appeared to have come through.
Give JM a break...

Horrible miss but to be frank no need for fans to go after a player and same for him going back and forth with a fan. Never a need for that imo.
