So, apparently he prefers a 3-5-2 and has (not surprisingly) said some good things about our current squad. So thinking how we could line up and then where to strengthen in Jan

Friend a decent option at LCB but the lack of pace with him and Wilson together would scare me.
Evans & Brown to fight it out for the #10 role.

"Depends on the players." ✔
"One of the hardest working teams"
"Understand all facets of the game in and out of possession"
"Up and at 'em, in their faces, aggressive, put pressure on opposition as much as possible"

I can see Trevor Clarke coming back into the fold , means nothing but he liked the post of Taylor being announced and hasn’t like any of the past post so I’m guessing he’s happy.

Would not surprise me to see him go for Alex Hartridge from Exeter.
Left footed centre back and if he plans on playing a 3 at the back then he will probably want/need another left footer with only Friend the other option.
Out of contract at the end of the season too I believe.

Was at Newport County with Aaron Collins. He played alongside Steve Tully at Exeter (our lead academy coach). I think he might have mentioned 1 or 2 other players like Marquis but don't know if he meant he played against rather than with. |

I want to see a team that is alway asking for the ball when in possession, but also chasing everything to get the ball back when not. |

Assume he still has an 18 month contract still to run with us Rory G also there. |

There has definitely been 'favourites' that have been played this season despite being poor. Personally I'd like to see Gibbons given a run of games, for me he's a better player than Gordon, and definitely a better full back than Grant. I'm also hoping Taylor can install some confidence back into Collins, Marquis and other attacking players.
