Is Trev still on our books and just on loan to wherever it is in Ireland? Was on loan to Shamrock Rovers, season ended last month with them champions. He scored 5 goals this season. Assume he still has an 18 month contract still to run with us Rory G also there. Thank you and apologies for being a lazy sod and not looking it up myself! |

Is everyone assuming we will be playing 3 at the back (or 5 whichever way you look at it)? I thought I heard him say he plays in a way that suits the players he has available?
Personally, I’m not convinced that formation works for our squad. It limits the amount of our best attacking players we can get into the starting XI. I think we are far better playing 4-2-3-1. I don’t think we we’ll see too much change in personnel in his first few games but hopefully see a more aggressive style, higher tempo and more purpose to our build up play.
Really looking forward to the Cheltenham game to see what unfolds !!

The players will certainly have to up their game if they want a future at the club. Aaron Collins and the other strikers, have been a letdown to say the least! Matt Taylor will soon discover if he is managing a so-called quality squad. I believe the club is rated about mid-table. Should be interesting come the summer when many of the players contracts will be up for renewal.

Matt has worked with him before but he’s done feckall for us so far, but we all know there’s a decent player in there. |

Really looking forward to the Cheltenham game to see what unfolds !! I think Harvey vale would make a great attacking wing back on the left and hunt coujd do a job on the right. But if either of those weren’t available then we’d be struggling for natural wing backs. We do however have a transfer window in less than a months time. I agree with what you say about quicker tempo and more aggressive though. After slagging Garner off in the media and winning a promotion Barton then took us back to Garner ball. We have to be stronger and quicker to those second balls and get at sides more. |

Trevor Clarke contract until June 2024 with an option for a further year Real battler. He was on fire against Oxford last season in the cup game. Think we won 4-3 . Can anyone tell me what Sincs has done wrong ? Still got quality and pace and Gordon tòo. He was one of the better players v Orient. |

We don’t need another defensive midfielder as we’ve got one of the leagues best in Josh Grant - just need to start playing him in his best position.
