Hi all,
Attending my first match tomorrow with my daughter and we have these tickets which she secured free through the tickets for forces website.
Area: Poplar Insulation Terrace 1
Row: 6
Seat: 467 & 544
Presume this is a standing area?
Any tips for where to park and what the food is like once we're in the ground?
We're coming down from Gloucester.

Park in the side roads off Filton Ave or Gloucester Rd then you can make the easiest getaway back home.
There's a Fans Zone outside the ground before the match selling decent food, at a price, the food in the ground is limited to the usual pies or pasties etc, it's just down to lucky chance if they are burnt or not!
I assume you're a Rovers fan from Gloucester, as I wouldn't recommend using the home terracing for away fans?

We're coming down from Gloucester. Cheers all. J That's the East Terrace, I stand there and I quite like it! There's not much once you're past the turnstiles - a set of two pasty huts one of which at least does hot dogs, plus sausage rolls, pies pasties etc. There is a duck stand as well which I haven't used yet which does burgers etc. It's fairly new and I thought it just did duck wraps but I'll probably give the burgers a go tomorrow. Before going through the turnstiles if you pop through the north entrances there's a fan area which has Jerk chicken, another burger stall which does fried chicken, and various other drinks and merchandise stalls. There's also a kitchen in the bar behind the North Terracing (right by the fan area) called Irene's Kitchen. It again does burgers and hot dogs, so more of the same. If none of this takes your fancy, you can pop down Gloucester Road and there's a few cafes, a Dominos etc. Enjoy the game! |
