Let's be fair going into this game there were three possible outcomes. Let's simplify this based on expectations.
1) Result was better than expected
2) Result was as expected
3) Result less than expected.
Too be honest I wasn't sure what I expected based on all the pre-chat on here. Seems like the performance was very good (always good to score four away from home) and of course more learning about the talent in this squad.
Seven shots, five on target and four goals is an impressive analysis. Good to see goals shared around with only 45% possession. Effective stuff tonight.
Let's be honest, this result was much, much better than many of us expected. Good effort from the travelling fans and our squad of players. We all needed this result. Many gasheads super happy tonight. Happy for all on here. Sleep well and look forward to how we build on this performance. Bring on 2nd placed Bolton - we are only 14 pts behind them.

In fairness to the manager, he needs to have a proper look at all of the players, and at 4-0 up in the cup there's no better time to give them a fair go.
Unfortunately one of two aren't doing themselves any favours.
