Straight afterwards, Crewe scored a cracking goal of their own. Their 2nd goal is a bit of a worry, as we allowed their guy to run unchallenged right down the middle, as we did at Crawley |

If not, hold on tight. MT will know what is needed |

It's no excuse for conceding straight afterwards, but the fact he goes down and appeals distracts for a moment other players and puts us straight on the back foot. I hope MT sits AC down and shows him all the incidents where he goes down too easily wasting good goal scoring opportunities and tells him to stay on his feet - he's good enough to do that and score 9 times out of 10. |

A fairly good result for Rovers against league 2 opposition but we will see how much progress is made after next four league games!

A fairly good result for Rovers against league 2 opposition but we will see how much progress is made after next four league games! Yep that will be the test , although Crewe may very well be in league 1 next year.
Last night was good not just for the result and majority performance , but also gave MT a chance to analyse our game when we conceded , and were up against it, whist still going through.
Just seen the highlights , some nice goals there.

Now that the dust is settling, and it's sinking in just how good we were in first half in an attacking way......I just wish we could have been similar, and a bit more clinical in the last two league matches...

It was similar at Crawley, perhaps it's just easier to play that way against L2 sides?? Although it's still not clear why we started so poorly v Cheltenham. |

Impressed with MTs post match words. Reflected a clear plan; a little more physicality through the middle and Collins up top provides pace that Martin and Marquis get more space off.
I was skeptical of the appointment but have been pleasantly surprised to date.
