Hate to say it but the early 80's matches at Swindon were a bloodbath, violence all over town and throughout the stadium. I think it was a Swindon where a police dog was thrown on to the pitch by Rovers fans as the old bill did nothing to protect us and spent the whole match, baton charging us.

The town hasn’t recovered from the riots since by the looks of it.

The town hasn’t recovered from the riots since by the looks of it. A good riot through Swindon now would improve it's look

I can remember going to Swindon mid 80s for a 1st round league cup game played on a Saturday We beat them 5.1. That was a eventful day with running battles before the game and rovers literally Kicking the back out of the old stand top get out because the ob refused to open the gates. Got back to temple meads only to be welcomed by a mob of Sh1!heads. As for any charges , get them booted out the league vile club.
