Goes without saying this will be one of our toughest fixtures of the season. Bolton in excellent form apart from a defeat in last game away at Pompey. Slightly more optimism from the Gas side with a good away win at Crewe in the FA cup.
A few injuries , Wilson & Hunt which we could definitely do with going our way.
Not sure how many tickets we’ve sold but guessing they’ll be 800 or so going ?
Thoughts ?

I have a feeling we have turned the corner.
The off the ball determination against Crewe showed this squad are together. Bring this game on. Nothing to fear.
Up for victory me. 2-0 gas.
Time for this squad to show us they can focus and bring home the bacon. Time to make a statement.
A draw would be pretty impressive.

Sadly another derby type game I think,valiant effort but the usual result.

With out them both we are going to really struggle i fear Hunt seems to be definately missing, not sure where the suggestion Wilson was injured is coming from as he wasn't mentioned in today's presser, Gibbons is struggling to make it, Hoole may make the bench so it's looking likely Thomas will have to play RWB? Friend is now also out with a long term injury!! |

Can’t see anything other than a home win to be honest.
It’s all very well wanting to play with wing backs, but our squad wasn’t built by JB to play that way!
We really have struggled to create a settled side and especially defence, which has been all over the place.
Roll on January and hopefully some solid and fit additions!
Not sure how Bolton set up, if they rely on width and wingers with pace we could be in trouble. We have very few options for the full back positions.
I’d be tempted to play Sinclair as RWB, he’s done it before and is more experienced there than Thomas. He can come on with 25 to go to stretch them.

Bolton home win IF they continue as they are , an off day for them and we could get something on top of the morale boosting win mid week.
