I'll be really disappointed if we don't get a second striker. Taylors system is clearly designed to get a particular output from that position.
It's impossible to judge how MT is doing without the backing. Without being allowed the tools to show a "good MT side". Leaving the reset till July means even if it goes wrong we'll have to stick with him because we've given such a false start. This second half of the season should've been a window into next, instead it feels like treading water.
The backing is incongruous with the decision to hire a new manager.

No signings in coming according to the manager earlier. So we are in a weaker position than before the transfer window. We could easily get sucked into a relegation scrap now that the squad is so depleted. If the owners aren't prepared to spend money then they should f**k off now. Bolton are second and buy the worst player on form from us. JCH is our only hope so who will sign him. Don't be afraid of the tattoos on his neck he is a pussycat deep down.

Looks like a decent signing. Looks like it has been in the works for a while. Not sure what would have happened if Indonesia were still in the Asian Cup?
Imagine he will be on the bench tomorrow. He would have only been back in the country a couple of days.
Assuming that video was made this morning, Gordon being in it maybe means he is staying put?

MT said he still hopes to make a couple of signings, hopefully, we sign another player tonight who looks like a first team starter just not another squad player like the youngster from Ipswich.
If we don't then it's odd we've spent so much on Conteh but not a penny on a forward/winger, I can't honestly see a DCM getting fans though the turnstiles but now and May.

No point in spending money for the sake of it and the players we got rid of for the most part (Collins excluded) weren't contributing anything and pretty much deadwood. Only worth spending it if we are going to get any value |

MT said that the figures quoted for a striker are high so I doubt we’ll get anyone.
Good to know that the Elkan transfer had been in the pipeline for a while which suggests it’s not all panic

We might as well get rid of blokes who are simply not going to improve or equal us for an injured/suspended player. Cut backs yes but no point blow wages on fodder and we have a squad full of it. We won’t miss any of the ones gone, we even beat Oxford 6th in the league without Collins. But for all that has gone out, including a big fee, if we don’t bring in 3 tonight I would be disappointed. And I’ve heard no more. |

The worst team I've seen all season. If we have "no chance" then we really need to worry. If we're that bad- we should be signing 4 or 5. |

Only worth spending it if we are going to get any value How can other teams get value but Rovers can't? I can't see every club holding us to ransom whilst letting other clubs sign their players. There must be players out there desperate for a move to try and impress a new club, like did Grant Ward last season. |
