Cox 7 one brilliant save but they definitely tested him with crosses towards under the crossbar...
Taylor 8 immense.
Wilson 8 excellent.
Crama 8.5 surprisingly best of defence.
Thomas 8.5 played rwb superb, great performance.
Finley 9 m o m midfield controller, best game for a long time, could even have scored in injury time to cap off a great captain performance.
Ward 7.5 sublime assist for first.
Vale 8 very hard working performance lwb.
Evans 9 like the Evans of old, playing with freedom and confidence.
Collins 7 fouls for the red, looking more comfortable in his renewed position as was never a lw.
Marquis 8.5 dangerous as ever! Super super JM...

Woods 7 nice addition cameo.
Martin 7 some decent defence work.

Hoole 7.5 great to see him back and deal with everything including some play pushed up the pitch.
Ref 6.5 at times inconsistent and card happy but got the red right.
Bolton 5 we humbled them and made them look like how we played in first 15 matches.... pondering attack and slow defensively. They had the ball, no one to pass to and slowed their game to a standstill, no tempo creativity or threat.
We were awesome without the ball and made triangles at times, esp first half in our attack....I honestly think they thought all they had to do was turn up!?
Well done, MT for carrying on the new manager bounce from Crewe and out performing a 2nd table outfit...... Bolton so quiet, the drum is all you could hear at times....watch out, the Gas are back!
