I think this may have been done before, but our current mid table League One position feels about right as a reflection on our whole existence.

Thanks for posting that baden. Interesting to look at the changes in positions 1980s to present times.
I agree, we are now where we’ve normally been in my lifetime since watching since 66/67 season. Up until this century we flirted with Division 2 and when in Div. 3 we usually looked to challenge at the right end. Tbh this century has been our worst of times although we’ve had good end of seasons on a couple of occasions, unfortunately in Div 4.
A couple of consistent mid table finishes in League 1 will probably be better than they sound compared to the last 23 years.
