So here we go again. Blackpool away, good luck to all those travelling up there. It’s a long way this close to Christmas.
This feels like a winnable game - especially if we play as well as we did last week at Bolton in the first half but we can’t take it for granted by a long way. Wonder if Taylor will take a look at another one or two players or a different formation. Although injuries may force his hand in many of the decisions. I’ll go for 2-1 again. Marquis to score at least one of the goals.

Little less confident about today with news about the illness in the camp. Hope whoever is fit to play puts in the same shift we did last week.

Not expecting a goalless draw.
Blackpool have scored 3 or more goals in 7 of their last 13 Home games.
Expect them to target Sam Finley.
Got Joe Morrell sent off at Pompey.
Same again treatment likely today.
Big performance will be needed if the long journey home is not miserable

It's always a home win between us and them and it sounds like there might be some sluggish bodies in the camp so I think it might be a stodgy 1-0 loss. But I will absolutely take that in exchange for a win on boxing day.

Do we know who is injured/sick? I saw it suggested in was one of CHs. From Taylor's pre match interview I would guess it's one of the centre halves as he commented on Illness when asked if he was going to play 3 centre halves again,saying it depended on how the players recovered from that. Highlights the importance of getting in a commanding centre half and decent left wing back in January if he wants to play 352. |

I would be happy with a draw today and really hoping the illness in the camp hasn't affected too many. Hope that any players coming in to the team will have taken note of the level of performance required to keep the momentum going.

Tough tough game today. Hoping for a decent performance and a competitive one - wouldn't be shocked or too downbeat (provided we aren't hammered). All signs point to us at least giving them a good game tho.
