Got to say this boy just seems to be getting better and better. Another superb performance today, very unlucky not to score with a borderline offside decision. Opposition fans saying how impressed they are by him. Works extremely hard for 90 minutes. Well done Luke, keep it going lad.

Blackpool commentators were very impressed with his performance and rightly said he could/should be playing at a higher level - well done Luke.

Our stand our player now, if he had a striker with pace to play with as well running the channels, you’d see an even better Thomas as well

Luke Thomas is absolute quality, tremendous player, I was really pleased when Joey managed to re-sign Luke on an extended permanent deal.

Only issue is, MT seems rigid in his desire to play 3-5-2
So where does he fit in?
Presumably when Hunt is fit he plays RWB?
So where would you play Thomas?

I think 3-5-2 will be first choice against the better footballing sides. Wouldn’t be surprised to see a variation of 4-2-4 against the more direct teams |

Evans always seem ineffective in a deeper role and can't tackle, Sinclair also seems to have gone AWOL so we've no right winger/RWB if we move Thomas to No 10, whereas we've got Evans and Brown (I know!!) who can play at No 10. We've no real back up to Collins or LT out wide. |

Yesterday at the game LT have shown a lot of class.
On the left in front of us,he chased the fast attacking player, overtaking him and taking the ball away, that was amazing.
Masterclass.

It’s great to see, especially after everything that’s gone on before and so happy he got the winner. He’s not the only one who deserves a mention atm, but this thread is rightly dedicated to him.
