His defensive work today was absolutely brilliant. Well done Luke. His attitude and work rate has been exceptional and seems to be loving his football again. It’s great to see, especially after everything that’s gone on before and so happy he got the winner. He’s not the only one who deserves a mention atm, but this thread is rightly dedicated to him. Keep up the good work Luke! Played brilliantly at wingback today Wimborne and then when moved forwards last 10 got his goal which backs up what we were both saying a couple of days ago. He really has become such a better all round player since he’s come back to the club. |

Hope they feel as gutted as we did 1st game of the season, we should have beat them then aswell, they maybe top but we are better

There's a lot of arrogance around clubs like that who think they're too big to be in this division. They're here for a reason, either for being crap on the pitch or cheating off it - or in Pompey's case, both |

I think Taylor will be really good for Thomas. Strikes me as a lovely bloke who’ll put an arm around him but at the same time Thomas will know this bloke takes no crap and won’t be scared to tell him the score behind closed doors if he needs to.

I agree. Same with Evans. He's gone up to the next level since Taylor arrived. Been absolutely terrific. |

Yes’ some fans have a very short memory of how good this player can be when played in the correct positions and managed rightly.
