Crama's lob which hit the bar was even better in that highlight than I realised at the time. Shame it didn't go in.
Still concerned by how weak and lethargic we looked for the Pompey goal and the ten minutes that followed, and understand where the rumours/reports that gym sessions weren't mandatory under the previous regime come from, but I do think that the Thomas goal shows that the spirit is starting to really come back to this team. The amount they're willing to work to support each other seems to be increasing every game and hopefully we're finally seeing this group of supposedly talented individuals finally become a squad.

Quite unbelievable that we've beaten Bolton and Pompey really. Bring on the other top six sides. Easy peasy. Then we can lose to all the relegation candidates to bring us down to earth 👍 |

Grant Ward’s through ball for the 2nd… 👏👏👏 I just come on here to say this Loverly little ball from Ward through to Vale and on to Thomas for the 2nd. Ward is becoming a pivotal player in the middle and since MT took over looking like a very good signing. Thomas is also looking like the player we hoped he would be, and Evans looks like he's getting back to that level he was in LG2 and bossing the attacking MD role |

Difference:
MT has clearly focused on the shape without the ball. Weve left behind the sideways passing for days and its allowing their attacking personality to come through. At the moment it's defend this way and I'll trust you guys to attack as you want.

Just watched the extended highlights.
45 seconds of the team lining up. Why? Why would I pay to watch that?
About 5 slow mo replays taking minutes. Why? I HAVE A REWIND BUTTON.
So many key incidents not shown. But hey, lots of completely useless replays, and of course watching the team line up.
