Cox 7 - Did well
Crama 8 - Really good positional play and looked good on the ball
Taylor 9 - absolutely dominant. Love him.
Wilson 7.5 - did well
Thomas 8 - constant pain in their p155 pipe.
Finley 7.5 - did well. Good legs too
Ward 9 - was everywhere. Classy operator
Evans 7.5 - good energy levels.
Vale 7 - would have got an 8 if it wasn't for his balls up for the goalm
Collins 6.5 - hard to watch.. Cost us a goal first half, didn't contribute too much but did assist Coldplay for the winner.
Marquis 7.5 - non stop running and help up ball well.
Martin 8 - came on and gave their defence a hard time. Two we'll taken goals.
Hoole 7 - did well.
Ref 5.5 - should have sent thug Hectar off. Appalling reffing. Also didn't give us a stone wall pen in second half.
Charlton 6. If I was their fans I wouldn't be happy. They are better second half but first half we dominated

Cox 7- a few saves some of them a bit unorthodox but generally did well.
Crama 7 - defended brilliantly but got us in to trouble with a poor pass which lead to their goal.
Wilson 8 - solid defensively and keeps it simple.
Taylor 9 - strong as ever , what a great signing.
Vale 7.5 - set up first goal , slipped for their goal , very good loan signing a steady 7 or 8 every week.
Thomas 8 - excellent running very direct , didn’t suit Barton’s style but really suits Taylor’s.
Finley 8 - our engine alongside Ward again , possibly in his best form since signing , never gave up anything great vision with his passes and movement.
Ward 9.5 - outstanding all action performance covered every blade of the middle third and Man of the Match.
Evans 7.5 - class through ball for the winner , quieter than of late generally but he has been phenomenal lately.
Collins 7.5 - good direct running , scared Charlton to death and took defenders all over the place to create chances for others.
Marquis 7 -ran his socks off again but nothing came off for him tonight.
Martin 9.5- everything you could ask for from a substitute striker, 2 great finishes which win us the game.
Charlton 6 - some class players but awful work rate , horrible fouling and belief , a big club in turmoil ?
Ref 5 - pretty average for league 1 , in other words pretty awful.
Gas crowd 8 - not as loud as v Pompey but still class.

Cox 7.5 some good claims, some wayward kicking (again)
Crama 8 dominant and good on the ball
Taylor 8 as above
Wilson 7 weakest of the back line but performed well
Thomas 7.5 high energy levels great press but needs more quality on the final ball
Finley 7.5 lots of the play went through him, lots of his passes went to nobody
Ward 8.5 MOTM covered every blade of grass in both directions
Evans 7.5 a different player under MT
Vale 7 marked down for his stinker on their goal
Collins 6.5 marked up for his assists, otherwise spent too much time on the floor
Marquis 6 not really involved and caught offside too much

Martin 8.5 did little else but score both our goals. Exactly what you want from your sub striker
McCormick
Hoole 7 solid enough

Charlton 5 May very very quiet. Blackett Taylor looked their only threat and that faded after 15 mins

Cox 7 a steady game with no major errors Crama 8 excellent, he's revelling in the new managers system Taylor 8 dominant as usual Wilson 7 kept it simple Thomas 8 non stop running,Charlton struggled with his pace Finley 8,5 the skipper led by example Ward 9 m.o.m pure quality, the best of a good midfield Evans 8 he's back to his best Vale 7 a shame he was culpable for the Charlton goal but otherwise a good display Collins 7.5 ran his socks off and his assists make up for the lack of goals Marquis 7.5 led the line well Ward Grant Woods Brown Martin 8 two goals in a super-sub display McCormick Hoole 7 slotted in seamlessly Ref 6 Charlton 6 they are a bit like we were under Barton, they have some good players but the manager doesn't seem to be able to get them to play as a team. |

Results are in.
Ward was our mom on 8.5, closely followed by Martin on 8.3 and Taylor on 8.2.
Our lowest scorers were Collins, Marquis and Hoole, all on 6.8.
The Ref scored 5.1 and Charlton 5.5.
I have now overseen 21 games since I took the thread on and after tomorrows game will post the ratings of all players over the last 22 games
