MT confirmed tonight that he has joined as part of his back room team.
A shrewd appointment this. A very experienced coach and assistant manager as well as being a rock of a centre half during his playing days.

Welcome, good appointment imho, vast experience at c/h sure to be a great help to our younger defenders, couldn't care less re his past associations with the unmentionables ! we all make mistakes!

As long as he can coach the lads then solid appointment. And have to trust MT on that.
Will look better with the Rovers badge on too and can imagine the Teds are already talking about it, but of course they don't care...should add 10s of page to the dedication thread.

Never liked the idea of our previous regime all living away from home and living together in a house like latter day students.
Must be better all round for the team to be based nearby with their families

It is startling the amount of staff that commit that sin of being over there, at some point find their way over here asking for us to absolve their sins? As he was going for the Inverness job I doubt he still lives locally His lad is still at Hibs, so can’t see he would miss out on his development. |
