Look I know he's an ex 82er and all that but why are there a few happy about someone losing their job who has absolutely nothing to do with us, what about his family, yeah I'm sure he's got a few quid but still Agreed - but it would have been great fun to have some banter with him later. I remember when Danny Wilson came to the Mem a few years back and was given the expected treatment and took it all in good humour. Top bloke. exactly, what makes me laugh is the anti Barton users on here saying how vile he is but these messages about LJ is just as bad imo, kettle black comes to mind. If they don't like someone because of the way they are that's fair enough but then why do the same. |

3m a season for an extra .5 ppm is probably worth it over the long run though eh? I'm only jesting anyway A34, don't bite 🙂 I can’t help it, he makes me bite! 😊 Sorry to be that guy but you can double your figures for their worst season of financial losses. Fleetwood lost 6 million in his first season and 4.8 million in the second. |

Think City had some good seasons when he was manager, Unlucky to get sack at Sunderland after a heavy defeat, still believe he would have taken them up, will be plenty of jobs around for him i reckon.

If you want a classy individual as an ex City manager, as mentioned above, Danny Wilson is your man. Neither of the squeakies are in his league.

Matches 22 ppm 1.05 Compared with one of their previous managers who's name rhymes with showey carton. Matches 128 ppm 1.51. Poles apart. Showey Cartons L1 record with us comes out at 1.04 PPG. So a lot closer than you thought eh |

Man City franchise took likkle LJ under their wing when he was at Oldham.
They viewed him cream of a young upcoming crop.
Sent him off to other parts of the world, USA included and introduced him to a recently retired Keegan, and (and, Vierra?) gave him more opportunity to develop than most other managers can dream of.
To me, he's typical sheeeeeedhead.
Privileged and knows it so acts like a a$$, sychophant to Lansdowne but can't manage for toffee, gets all the breaks, chats the chat but has never won anything. And probably never will.
I thought he was a very decent player, maybe daddy played him too much but he was a definite positive for their lot. But I remember his antagonist Yeovil days.
As for a manager, I'm so glad no one has taken it seriously to band his name around when we've been reaching out for managers, and I hope they never will, he's just not well suited to us.
