Even so I think we’d get more passion and commitment and a determination to do what our manager wants to be done from giving Ryan Jones a run in the side. He was impressive in the preseason games only to be turfed out on loan, injured and then underutilised. Time to back him in my opinion. |

How is he doing in the Conference? Think he has only played a couple of games due to injuries. Allegedly coming back to us in January. Yes he got injured early season and Bromley went on an impressive run of form without him. He’s forced his way back onto the bench but has been reduced to cameo appearances due to the good form of the starting XI. |

Bromley think very highly of him. It should be said he came back into the side v lower league opposition in the FA Trophy and scored but that was a few weeks ago and has been on the bench for the last 3 or 4 games - came on for the last few minutes in the last game. I would like him back but hopefully MT has been looking at what Clarke can offer before looking elsewhere. He was after all a recent champion and you can see what confidence does for players. Also has Championship experience. |

With kids on loan the parent clubs don't care if they make mistakes as it doesn't cost them. |

With kids on loan the parent clubs don't care if they make mistakes as it doesn't cost them. So you'd drop Vale then - two assists in two games - for Hoole or Gordon, just so they can develop their games. If they ever did develop we'd probably lose them for nothing anyway like we did with Locks? The age of developing Academy players and selling them for £100K's now seems a thing of the past. |
