With Finley and Woods both playing, our midfield is slow and ponderous. Get Woods off and Ward on asap.

Dreadful after two strong home performances, so disjointed, although Wycombe easily able to spoil any efforts we’ve made. Not been able to string anything together and hit on counter too often

What a fecking shitshow. I reckon some of em drank as much as me last night. Cox and Finley the only two who aren’t playing like they’ve got their bloody boot laces tied together. The only positives are the two I just mentioned and radio Bristol have got a proper commentator today. How that wasn’t a second yellow only the ref knows, f%%king sh**e ref again ffs. Yes a proper commentator and its good to listen to him, it’s just a shame he has Brokkman as Co com who must be looking at another game with his comments. |

Not sure what's happened to woods, this season and his career in general.
Shrews fans called him the ginger Pirlo destined for the Prem, and he looked liked that for the first 2 games, but since then has not impacted the game at all and is too weak in the tackle

I don't think it's because we are not up for it, I think it's how we normally look when Martin starts up front and with Woods in midfield. We don't press as high and the other team can push higher up the pitch, as Martin doesn't have the pace to beat them in behind. So our midfield players don't have as much time and space on them ball. Woods isn't as mobile as Ward as well. Martin earned a start, but we normally look better as a team with Marquis. |

Everyone else kicking around in pairs or groups. Might be sulking at not playing much. |
