Apologies if this was already posted five years ago, but I just stumbled upon this on Reddit and found it quite interesting from the perspective of The Gas and who we think our rivals are and vice versa. Also just pretty interesting as a whole looking at all the rivalries in English football.
Is there anyone you would argue sneaks into our top 5 now, or do you think this poll is totally wrong?

I would like to know who the 23% are, who don't consider C*ty our rivals and what planet they're from?

I’d also like to know Wycombe’s beef with Colchester…

Our rivals:
1) Bristol City 2) Bristol City Reserves
Swindon, Cheltenham and Newport are irrelevant and Cardiff are more rivals of the other lot these days.

I think, due to some nasty history between our clubs I would include Notts County and Wycombe in my list. Cheltenham and Newport only come into my thinking if we're playing against them, certainly not between games.

For me we only have one rival club. The rest are irritants or a bit of banter - but not rivals. Plymouth is further away than London. But we’re rivals apparently. So why aren’t we rivals with Oxford, Brentford, Fulham, Reading etc. plus a whole load of midlands/Birmingham clubs. We also seem to be creating rivalries where none exist. It’s got to the stage where supporters love their own club and hate everyone else - there’s no calm middle ground. I know someone who ‘hates’ Grimsby because they had a drum at Wembley.

And TVP seem to think we have a rivalry with Oxford seeing the times they make us play each other.

MK Dons, although everyone should have a rivalry with them.
I wonder if Barnet still class us as a rival as they hated us in that conference and following season

Yeovile has to be in there now coming up a after years of many friendly pre-season friendlies Forest Green Rovers for the same reason and a twat of an owner trying to force fans to his way of eating and drinking. Got caught after refusing to buy vegan food I bought a cup of tea, then found out I HAD TO have soya milk. Drank it black On the flip side my favourite team to play has to be Scunthorpe for the recent help in an assisted passage
