They (not using “we” as I wasn’t there) really were amazing. On the stream all you could hear were Rovers.
We are now winning at places like Bolton, going away in the cup to Norwich City and our players had their heads down after a 1-1 draw. A draw away at Norwich used to be call-the-wife-we-have-a-motorway-delay(yes 2 pints please)-sorry about that-territory.
Line drawn by Mods under the Barton V Barton fans rift rightly so but let’s all now be fkin stoked that this team is becoming the real deal. Nothing like a few success stories on the pitch to get all of us at the Apple brandy and singing arm in arm again.
This club is bigger than one man, and it’s bigger than us and our petty squabbles. We are custodians for something which has been here for 150 years and will live on when we’re gone so let’s pull our fingers out and make every home game this loud. The past has gone and regardless of that episode, we DO now have the right man it seems (and massive credit to the Board here - we blast them for mistakes so let’s recognise when they get it riight) so in the words of a famous chef, “let’s be Avin you!”.

My son absolutely loved it. Loads of other teams fans talking to us when they spotted his grey away shirt including a city fan on the train back to temple meads, was a sound guy actually.
That’s definitely got my son properly hooked yesterday. He’s already making me take a break from my work at 10am tomorrow to get us Exeter tickets 🤣

The fans were great and apart from the end of the 1st half and the first 15 minutes of the 2nd, were loud on the TV.
I have had a look on otib and our numbers were terrible btw. They are taking 9k to the Irons. So with our game being a similar type of challenge and a long time since we played them, we should have taken a lot more..
With it being a similar challenge, I'm tempted to bundle some money on a scoring draw🤔

Confession time... in the past some mates and I went to Carrow Road wearing Rovers shirts for a match against 82. We were in the home end. 82ers noticed and were not happy. There were only about 400 82ers who had made the trip and '82 lost.
