Who suggested anyone was bigger than the club? 'I would never wish anything bad on anyone, but he's not who I would have picked in one million years' So this statement is what all the fuss is about? Have people seriously got nothing better to do? It's an opinion isn't it? He said he wouldn't have picked him. So what🤷♂️ I haven't listened to the interview, but when he said "I wouldn't have picked him in a million years" does that mean he wouldn't have chosen him or predicted him as a possible candidate. That phrase is ambiguous and definitely open to interpretation. Maybe also ambiguous, but he did prefix it with 'I would never wish anything bad on anyone, but..'

Mary Earps should call him out and see if he really can score 100 penalties out of 100 against her.

Maybe it's time to ridicule him in front of his supporters.

I am tempted to call this man an animal, but that would be an insult to animals. He obviously has a mental health problem and will eventually open his Scouse gob once to often and find himself the subject of a legal case. But the worrying thing is that virtually every time he does this act of hiding behind his keyboard, he is referred to as the "former Bristol Rovers manager " and that sticks in my throat. Why oh why, did this great club ever recruit such a low life as this?

Bloody hell, can't he have a day off from being an utter prick? Coming soon the “let’s all move on now” posts , which really means “let’s all conveniently forget we idolised the man”. Some people should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this bloke to be their hero.

When we appointed him, I tried to look past his 'press' history and give him the benefit of the doubt.
However, he blew this benefit many times whilst at Rovers.
Unfortunately, the man can't keep his mouth shut - he is a fool of the highest order.

Everyone knew what Joey had done and been accused whilst he was the manager of us. All of this is after so you never knew any more than anybody else. Really no need to play we were right you were wrong card. Most Joey supporters supported the manager and what we were doing on the pitch, don't be confused.

Only been at it a while and got my first bite! What the ones who defended him for publicly calling an employee under his leadership an idiot, the same employee who had absence from leave due to mental health issues? Or the ones who sang We’ve got Super Joey Barton, that’s not supporting the side, that’s supporting him or egging him on to do his Klopp fist pump, I’m not confused! If you sang his name, you were one of the ones who never knew what he was like. In fairness to you, you sound quite smart and probably never sang his name. But imagine singing his name knowing his wife dialled 999 for help, some of us knew he was like he is today and why we never sang his name!

Oh dear! The guy wants to be relevant but end up being a nasty misogynist of the highest order. He’s going to go too far soon and end up in court….. again. Apart from being a horrible little gob***** he’s just proved that he needed BRFC more than we ever needed him. The guys finished with anything to do with football.
And some come on here and try and ‘wind up’ other gasheads! Blimey, what has that got to do with anything?
Well done the AS for biting the bullet and ditching him.
UTG!

You got me giggling here bother and the first time in ages me and Dusty posting on the same thread again! But the best of it, the power of the so called forum got the Barton posts stacked into this one thread, and the same ones who got this done are now reading this………But they can’t say give it a rest, you are invading the forum, we know you are reading this! 408 Gasheads signed this, ok I get 50 are Sheeds trying to get him to stay and embarrass this club even more. Some advice for some, some names on this post on here, the man is clearly unhinged and week by week getting worse. He has history for trouble, he’s hit his partner, nothing is out of the question, some advice and tell me to do one, delete your name off this in case you regret it! www.change.org/p/reinstate-joey-barton-as-bristol-rovers-manager

Some of the comments!
“Joey has restructed the club & put it in the best position it's been in for a long time. Attracted quality players & enviable reputation with bringing on loan players. I would be fully confident of further success with Joey Barton in charge”
Restructured, it needs resurrecting now, the manager basically said we’ve got no recruitment department! And never interacted with the academy, restructured, and Barton is always hammering the Tories, I think Liz Truss never left it as bad as him!
