Re touts/greedy fans unless I'm missing something I can't see them selling on the tickets that easily, unless they think a ticket for the Norwich game gives them first dibs on a Liverpool ticket? Selling out in a couple of hours last night does seem a bit odd particularly if that included all the terrace s/t tickets, I doubt even the Scunthorpe game sold out that quickly? Hi Topper, I'm not saying that it is touts/greedy fans, but I was told that some were on the 'internet' boasting about how they had 10 tickets for the game and saying that they hadn't seen Rovers for years. I'm not saying they are touts, but buying ten tickets at a time would explain why it was sold out so quickly. You'll probably find they are on a wind up

Half the people are WUM with nothing better to do. Obviously something has gone wrong and when a solution is found then a statement will be made. Also how can people turn up with tickets to get in surely they haven't been sent out yet as I have purchased mine and have confirmation but no link for a digital ticket so was expecting a paper ticket to be sent. I choose print at home and then add it to Google wallet on my phone which I have already done. I am not a season ticket holder though so no idea how this is going to turn out.

Maybe a second hand car. I will agree to disagree as it’s not me you should be upset with. I’m not upset as I’ve got my ticket. Just saying that ST holders should have priority and if it means cancelling tickets, so be it. Yes I bought a ticket last night and i don’t have a season ticket ( this season!). Would happily forego going so a season ticket holder can go and rightfully take their place . The club on the other hand 🙄

It is actually a reflection on outsourcing - may well be a lack of communication between club and ticketmaster, but whatever the cause it would not have happened when the in house staff were used to process tickets. The more things are outsourced the more likely there will be an error. Not a fan of Ticketmaster but surely these types of things have happened or at least had a close call before. Does anyone at Rovers check what is advised to Ticketmaster? Do people at Ticketmaster just go along with it and respond with 'not our problem' if the comms were wrong. Regarding inhouse. Don't fancy queueing at Twerton for hours..... again

TM have issued e-tickets, they are in phone wallets, not sure now TM can now physically remove the tickets from pps phones; this has turnstile aggro written all over it.

From the club
Good Afternoon,
We are contacting you as you have been identified as one of the supporters affected by the glitch in our third-party ticketing system.
At 4:30pm today, Tuesday 9th January, you will able to login to your ticketing account to purchase terrace tickets for our fixture versus Norwich on Wednesday 17th January.
Due to the third-party issue, we have limited-availability so you may not be able to purchase in the area your season ticket is usually situated in.
Please note, these tickets will not be reserved on your account, but you will need to be logged in to purchase your ticket. One ticket will be available per season ticket holder.
Thank you for your continued support.

Bristol Rovers Football Club is aware of reports from a small number of season ticket holders within the terraced parts of the ground that their ticket reservations were not held for our replay with Norwich for next week.
Club Statement The club has been made aware of a glitch in our third-party ticketing system, which has been investigated, and the affected supporters identified. These fans will be contacted directly, with the opportunity to purchase tickets for the fixture. There will be no further tickets available for general sale purchase at this time.
Season ticket holders in seated areas will still have until 7pm on Wednesday 10th January to purchase their seats for the fixture. Following this deadline, any seats not purchased will be released and made available for purchase with further priority given to those season ticket holders who were unable to purchase last night.
We would like to take this opportunity to apologise for any inconvenience caused and reassure supporters that we will do all we can to make sure that every season ticket holder that wishes to attend the game is able to.
Thank you for all of your support and we look forward to seeing you all at The Mem next week, for what is a hugely important fixture for the club.
It's not a 'little glitch' judging from the numbers at the ground this morning. There may be hundreds, maybe more affected!
