Balls up from the club a side, that’s got to be the fastest we’ve ever sold out a home game? Just under 3 hours. Indeed. Still struggling to believe it tbh. Not like it gives you any extra shot at a Liverpool ticket. My god we need the south stand open soon! |

The club sorted it in under 24 hours.
STH’s get an option to buy a ticket
Mistakes happen and they rectified. As for communication throughout the day - well I’d rather they focused on fixing it than replying to all the happy clappers.
I for one say well done to the club for sorting it.

In other news, the other lot are live on TV against the 'ammers on Tuesday 16th. Followed by Blackpool v Nott'm Forest on Wednesday 17th.

UTG They were pretty daft not releasing a holding statement earlier acknowledging the issue and it was being looked into. It watered off and worried a lot of folk and added about 12 pages to this thread. Daft communications. |

Balls up from the club a side, that’s got to be the fastest we’ve ever sold out a home game? Just under 3 hours. But it’s not actually sold out yet…. I think some season ticket holders have purchased tickets without going to the “reserved tickets” section of the website - so there are a lot of reserved tickets that will be available for the club to sort out this mess once the 7pm deadline closes tomorrow. The club are blaming a “glitch” - but trying to kick off general sale at same time as ST holders securing reserved tickets was asking for trouble. The website doesn’t make this a clear process to follow for ST holders and the club made no attempt to spell it out in simple steps. No idea whether is was ticketmaster or rovers that failed to specify a restriction of the numbers per person! But that is a massive oversight. (Assuming the folks talking about getting several tickets aren’t just stoking the fire) Feel for those in supporters club and other groups who clearly got overlooked in the plans. Bizarre too that they started selling tickets 1hr before the draw for next round. They could have priced this much higher given the allure of the game now. Shambles! New owners won’t be liking this! We don’t seem to be able to make basic business and admin decisions. Even worse if this was actually fully vetted by the new owners - but guess we’ll never know! |

What's the betting 20,000 now turn up and 10,000 are locked outside, then the games called off because of a frozen pitch or snow!! |

Personally think it would be nice for the club to maybe put a tenner credit in the ticketing accounts as a gesture of goodwill for the balls up or maybe even hey……an apology….to the guys on standing terraces with season tickets who’ve not been able to get their normal area as detailed in a few of the posts above.
Course this is a one off any we’ve never ever had any problems with ticketdisaster before eh guys……hmmm..

At least 2 season ticket holders that stand by us every game cannot get a ticket
The online ticketing system hasn't worked properly for at least 2 years and they have no intention of sorting it.
