Heh, yep.. I can confirm as I was(n’t) there 😂😂 Same! Was for my birthday n'all. Rocked up with my late uncle (RIP Mart) and he looked at me and said "I'm so sorry mate, we're not getting in". Then the gate got rushed and I looked at him and said "what now?". And he said "now.... run!" WHAT. A. GAME. What a game indeed. Started on the cider early and vaguely remember ending up in Odyssey in town at 1am with some city fans I knew, who to be fair admitted we were the better side.

Probably the best game I have been to for atmosphere. Attendance given as 22000 but more like 25000 with people locked out.

Hey it's what a lot of people call progress.
Out source everything and standards drop or fail, but the geezer making the very decision it took to out source in the first place remains unaffected and largely uncaring, and creating more work in the long run.
Like I said long ago, we hardly got any problems of this nature before, with a local dedicated staff resource but hey I'm old fashioned not fit for purpose and certainly not the club I recognise.

Absolutely agree. I have tickets, but Ticketmaster are the single worst company I have ever had to deal with in work or out. A tech savvy 10 year old would do a better job. Come on Rovers, take this in-house now.

I disagree that standards drop because of outsource,if you have the appropriate Service Contract etc ,standards can actually improve.

And guess what The club sorted it in under 24 hours. STH’s get an option to buy a ticket Mistakes happen and they rectified. As for communication throughout the day - well I’d rather they focused on fixing it than replying to all the happy clappers. I for one say well done to the club for sorting it. UTG Well I did get one, but my two mates who are Season Ticket holders, have been supporting the Rovers for 60+ years (Before they were the Gas!) didn't. I gave their names to Adam Tutton and they got no e-mail. One was working (for free) in a charity shop and didn't get an e-mail and the other also didn't get an e-mail and when I rang and told him to go online at 4:45, he went online but wasn't allowed to access any tickets, they were all gone! There are four other season ticket holders that I know of who went on at around 4:45 to find no tickets left, so your answer is NO, the club have not sorted it. they screwed-up BIG TIME and will not admit it! I got an email from Tom Gorringe shortly after, hoping it was all OK.............................I don't think he liked my reply??? Just to add, this is what it says at the end of that website announcement; "We would like to take this opportunity to apologise for any inconvenience caused and reassure supporters that we will do all we can to make sure that every season ticket holder that wishes to attend the game is able to". Well, Bristol Rovers, I know of at least 6 that currently can't, so what are you going to do?

I disagree that standards drop because of outsource,if you have the appropriate Service Contract etc ,standards can actually improve. There's 23 pages where many have cited a drop in standard, on a subject that never made any thread before it was out sourced - not withstanding issues with catering, kiosk, cashless Mem when the system goes down, less 50/50 revenue, turnstiles, corporate hospitality, stewarding, lack of replica kits in our short history of outsourcing. What more evidence do you need? But hey it's what's called progress, and everything nailed down to the £ is more important than a personal service that would have stopped all of the above!

Most clubs, some with a lot more fans than Rovers, seem to cope OK with outsourcing ticket sales. You had to sense something wasn't right last night when the club suggested that just stand season tickets were being held back, unless the club have also outsourced the announcements to TM the problem seems to be down to the club not TM.

I'm a season ticket holder and it's not letting me buy my usual seat, despite being within the deadline.
What's the current situation? Just wait and see what they announce tomorrow?

Is it letting you purchase a seat- at all? I'm not sure that seats/ particular places are directly reserved (albeit would be logical. I'd contact the shop tomorrow.

Tbf, if you don't have a ST and log in to purchase, like I did, why not grab a few extra for your mates? It's not their fault if the club haven't reserved the 3k or so for ST holders is it? Perhaps I'm wrong?? I'm hoping it's all in hand but whoever manages our allocations should have 1 ticket in the seat number reserved for every ST holder until a general sale date after the weekend imo. Yes, you're wrong. Season Ticket holders are a priority group. Everyone knows that. Those who have "done nothing wrong", but have got tickets ahead of priority groups are taking the mickey out of fellow Rovers supporters. You won't convince me otherwise, so (up to you), but you'll be wasting your time replying. Let me get this straight. I have taken the mickey out of fellow rovers supporters, for visiting the official website and buying a ticket? You won't convince me I've done anything wrong! I haven't followed the thread all day so hopefully its sorted now but you can't blame punters for buying available tickets online. The club needs to look after reservations and allocations, it doesn't self police.

When I go to the club shop on Thursday am I supposed to say “oh , before you give me a ticket can you make sure all ST holders have got one if they want one, otherwise I will decline, and take my rightful place awaiting confirmation they are all catered for” 😂

I had to travel to Turkey many years ago with a group of triathletes. Was quite clear that the airline wouldn't be able to carry all the kit. The company we paid to organise things said take the argument up with the airline. Ended up with a few people in departures refusing to move until we knew all baggage was on board. Our trump card was any smaller cases would have to be removed if we didn't board and a massive delay. Should not have been the airlines issue as my 'contract' wasn't with them and the buck was passed
My point.
Ticketmaster are crap but my 'contract' is with BRFC not Ticketmaster. The statement 'issue with 3rd party' doesn't hold water. The club chose them, they are ultimately responsible

Have you used your account number when you sign in with your email address - assuming your’re looking for your stand seat. As stated earlier, it is saying there is only availability for South Stand season ticket holders. This appears to be the case for others as well. Current season ticket is for Wast Stand.
