Let me get this straight. I have taken the mickey out of fellow rovers supporters, for visiting the official website and buying a ticket? You won't convince me I've done anything wrong! I haven't followed the thread all day so hopefully it’s sorted now but you can't blame punters for buying available tickets online. The club needs to look after reservations and allocations, it doesn't self police. I agree. When I go to the club shop on Thursday am I supposed to say “oh , before you give me a ticket can you make sure all ST holders have got one if they want one, otherwise I will decline, and take my rightful place awaiting confirmation they are all catered for” 😂 Yes. 🏴☠️😎

It's saying that this event is not available to me. What's the best way to contact the shop? Have you used your account number when you sign in with your email address - assuming your’re looking for your stand seat. Yes, I sign in with my account number and I'm looking for my west stand season ticket seat. It goes straight to "This event is not available to you".

So eventually I managed to get a ticket. Feel it was a lot of unnecessary hassle and should have been much easier. However I’m not in my normal area and therefore apart from the person I go with. Glad to have a ticket but disappointed with the process. Same. Thatchers end is sold out so my space in the thatchers where I go week in week out with the boy had been sold to someone who hasn't been all season. Absolute Shambles. On the plus side I've got 2 tickets in the south stand so get to see what it's like now. I'll swap if you want?

I've had had some luck with Tom Gorringe. I finally got a reply and he told me that if I gave him my mates contact details, he would get Chloe Monks to ring them and sort them out tomorrow. I've done that, so I would suggest any season ticket holder who hasn't got a ticket, should contact them by e-mail and give them a phone number. Worth trying......then they might actually understand the scale of the problem they created? Their e-mails are ChloeMonks@bristolrovers.co.uk and TomGorringe@bristolrovers.co.uk.

That's the debate here isn't it? The club/TM have fudged it. Its not the fans fault for buying things😀 Looks like its getting resolved now though which is positive.

In the end it's all about cost to serve and if it's significantly cheaper to outsource then it's inevitable. I disagree that standards drop because of outsource,if you have the appropriate Service Contract etc ,standards can actually improve. There's 23 pages where many have cited a drop in standard, on a subject that never made any thread before it was out sourced - not withstanding issues with catering, kiosk, cashless Mem when the system goes down, less 50/50 revenue, turnstiles, corporate hospitality, stewarding, lack of replica kits in our short history of outsourcing. What more evidence do you need? But hey it's what's called progress, and everything nailed down to the £ is more important than a personal service that would have stopped all of the above! If you read my post I am not talking about this specifically,it's about the principle of out sourcing in general,it can and does work and can be cost effective. As I have clearly said it's about the Service Contract and the ability/capability to manage the outsource partner to the levels agreed in the Agreement. Hope that clarifies my original post.

That isn't the problem. The problem is that the club screwed up and sold season ticket holders tickets to you, and others, ahead of them, and that many 'part time' supporters got a ticket ahead of regulars i.e. Season Ticket holders. What the club do to put it right is for them to work out. Something which they have so far tried, and failed dismally, to do. We hope they might learn from this debacle, but I doubt it. I was talking with my season ticket holder mate (who still hasn't got a ticket) and we were laughing because we expected them to screw this up!

They are no lesser a Gashead than a ST Holder 👍🏾

Balls up from the club a side, that’s got to be the fastest we’ve ever sold out a home game? Just under 3 hours. Indeed. Still struggling to believe it tbh. Not like it gives you any extra shot at a Liverpool ticket. My god we need the south stand open soon! The only orange you will see now is goalie kits, sun tans and boots

I was having the problem of my reserved ticket no longer being available for the East Stand, but its all sorted now.
My uneducated guess is they were all unavailable while they sorted the I.T but now its all systems go again

Let's not make it about season ticket holders vs ticket holders
If there is a f**k up and someone gets my seat then I hope they get to watch us march on to Liverpool

The ones who come out of the woodwork when things are looking good, but don't come along when things are going badly.

As posted above it's hard to understand why nearly 10,000 turned up last night, we'll probably get to the ground on Wednesday and find it half empty as it was Liverpool fans buying the tickets!!

It could also be the cost! A lot want to come but justify the £27.00 to stand on the Clubhouse terrace week in week out.

I'm running around with my shirt over my head, I'm in, frustrating all round, this will ramble on and have great sympathy for terrace fans where their tickets have gone, if fans have bought more than one I suggest they are contacted and advised they will be cancelled.
All fans deserve to be treated well but season ticket holders are paying up front, most miss a few matches, and give the club money at crucial times to cover pre season.

Been out all day and was surprised to see how this thread has escalated overnight.
Is there any truth in the suggestion made earlier that tickets sold to non ST holders will be cancelled and offered to ST holders first? I haven't had any notifications from the club about this. If the club are apologising to ST holders, they'll have a lot more apologising to non ST holders who bought a ticket in good faith.
As an innocent soul, I logged in to the ticketing section via my account, saw tickets were for sale, and bought a ticket. Not realising the pain I was apparently inflicting on my ST owning comrades. I do sympathise though.

No tickets are being cancelled the season ticket holders who haven't got one are trying to be accommodated in there preferred stand but there is no promise this can happen but can still get a ticket for another part of the ground. It's a bit of a balls up but the club are doing its best to put it right.
