Form doesn't just appear. You need to prepare and work for it. Yes- there is a potentially exciting match come the end of January; but we have 4 games before that and we must focus on the next one first.
We have a huge game this weekend against a side we should've beaten. The ghost of Barnsley at home has haunted this side. This was the first of many: play well but not get the points we deserve. I really hope we put a marker down as we owe them one. A point here please.
Afterwards we have Norwich and we all know what is to be won. Playing well at Barnsley gives us a the best platform to do the business in a packed Mem.
Following this, a home match against Blackpool. This is a huge game if we are to do anything this season. Another game where madness undid us. Albeit Blackpool may have shaded it on the day, without silliness we could've had an extra point on the board.
Then MTs old team come to town. The 4-3 last season was arguably a forecast into this season. Not ruthless enough- letting sides into matches and not getting what we deserve. 65 minutes of great football being negated by 25 minutes of sleepy football.
4 matches for boys to show they've turned the corner and keep the momentum before a hopeful day to liverpool. The hard work already started, and it gets harder in the run in.
Its an exciting challenge. UTG.
