In plain English that means we paid up much of his contract.
Surely one of Joeys most bizarre signings. Most people think he looked more than capable but if you have already had a spat and said he is not good enough, why do you turn around a few months later and give him a two year contract?
I for one thought he looked a very good left back.

Nice bloke and reminded a little of Jocky Alexander when tackling.
Stood up to Barton in a training ground argument so gets my respect all day long.
Hope he goes on to do well.

No idea, I thought the idea was players are here to play football and compete for positions? Someone - perhaps pirate - shared a link to an article a few months back which suggests teams are signing goalkeepers with no intention to play them so that they can game the emergency loan rules. I’ll cheer up after the four home games, feeling Rovers deprived! He’s still taking up a squad position, What has Sinclair done this season other than take a wage? I’d pay him up. Wilson was always going to be a risky signing with his injury record over the years. |
