Grant 5 has lost a lot of speed, sadly.
Crama 6.5 a lot to like about how he brings the ball out of defence
Thomas 7.5 our one bright spark in defence and attack in the first half

Evans 7 came alive in the second half. Pulled the strings - good assist and unlucky when teed up by Vale from a free kick.
McCormick 6 did well enough to show he has something still to offer
Vale 6.5 looks very good going forward and does a competent job at wing back whilst understandably not being the most decisive in his tackling. Would love to see him consistently deployed further up field.
Brown 6 lively but missed two key chances.
Martin 7 was involved in a lot of our attacking play and put more of a shift in than he sometimes gets credit for. Excellent finish.

Ref 5 typical ref at this level, really. All 50-50 calls went to the home side
Barnsley 5 they have quality but the frustration is that I felt that this was a game that was ours to win if we had been a bit more decisive and hadn’t been collectively fast asleep at the start. We always looked threatening but never really grasped control.
