Fair shout. I think the problem with players like Ward is that it always feels like he’s not far from a spell out due to his history. Unfair maybe? Yes I think so and I don’t think we’d be discussing this if we didn’t have several players who are often out injured. Agreed. Never know Rossiter might come back and become a regular for a long period of time, it would be the first time it’s happened but we all thought J Grants days were numbered and now he’s had a decent run of games without any problems. Watch this space (Think I might have just jinxed J Grant) I don’t think Rossiter will play again.

Looking at Ward's stats he's only played regularly for one season whilst at Blackpool since he did his cruciate ligament at Ipswich.
Perhaps he just hasn't got a full season in him anymore.
As a club perhaps we need to look at slightly inferior younger players who'll hopefully play regularly. Although EA falls under the younger category and he seems to have spent most of this season out injured for Newcastle!

Problem is are injury free quality players prepared to move to Bristol for reasonable salary? I cant believe there aren't any around that can help us compete at the top of L1. The issue is do we have any system to identify these players. I have my doubts Do we need systems just for this window? I assume MT knows most players at this level and agents will soon tell him who's available, I'd imagine he's got a list of players he'd like to sign.
