Even though the season ticket is good value its been a bit of a pain with the amount of rescheduled Saturday games postponed because of u21 call ups.midweek ones not so easy to get to Yeah my issue too And with less chance of selling on exchange now with more seats, not sure it is worth it for me

Although the prices seem ridiculous, it's hard to call them overpriced when we are selling this many tickets this season.
It is going to be hard to lower prices and see a reduced profit for any owner.
Everytime I've been back to bristol recently and managed to see a game in person it's finding one of the last 20 or so in a random part of the ground so it's not like they're not selling.
All the more reason to finish up redevelopment and then open up student and under 21 pricing again to ensure we still have a fanbase in the future.

I can't remember what they were called, but what happend to the 'part-season' tickets? Almost as cheap as a full ST and you could buy for 5 or 10 games of your choice, subject to availability.
I think what puts some people off STs is not being able to benefit from the cheap cost per match because of being unable to get to enough games. I know they can be resold but it seems a right faff for someone who might only get to half the home games.

I used to do the direct debit payments for ST, very handy if the cash isn’t there to buy it in one go. Not sure if it’s still an option mind. Paid 340 for East Terrace ST this season, £14.70 a match. Happy with that, will be enquiring about south stand for next season though. See how much they’ll want for seat behind the goal. Brand new stand or not, surely it can’t be more than the current East Stand ST’s that are situated on/either side of the halfway line. I bet it can 😂

Expect and hope a change with the 12500 cap next year

Be good to hear from the Supporters Director, to get their thoughts on current match day prices. I asked a question on here on January the 9th ref toilet improvements, in relation to The Fans Director. Don’t hold your breath OneF as there is radio silence yet again from the Fans Director.

Why is the Thatchers always sold out? It never used to be. I used to just rock up on the day and buy a ticket. I think we've reduced capacity in all standing areas over the years, although im happy to be told im wrong. It certainly seems less crowded on the East Terrace on the rare "sold out" days. I agree with you, except the recent Norwich game, where I stand on the East Terrace it’s usually quite quiet on those “sold out” days but it was oddly over crowded Wednesday night, to the point a steward was asking fans to step towards the Thatchers.

It’s also interesting that the club decided to scrap the U21 and student price category completely. As someone who has moved back to Bristol for uni this has directly affected me and I feel the club are missing out by not engaging with students. I'd like to preface this by saying that the U21 season ticket at £8.50 a game is great value and I would definitely have got one if I didn't play on Saturdays but my grievance is more with individual match tickets During last season, there was a great initiative by the club where tickets for certain 'cat c' matches against the likes of Morecambe and Fleetwood were only £1 (later increasing to £5) for u21's and as a result I was able to convince several mates to come watch, with us buying drinks and food etc at the club before the game. Now at £26 its much harder to convince them to come watch especially with the draw of championship football nearby for not much more. I'm on the committee for the UoB football team and we had actually been planning to have a club social at a game this season which would have meant an extra 70-80 people at a game like Fleetwood, spending money in the bar/shop, but with the price increase we didn't think it would attract enough interest to make it worthwhile. I feel the club are just missing out on potential income from students who, although may not end up be lifelong fans, could still potentially financially contribute to the club for the several years they are living in Bristol. For reference here are some of the initiatives that other clubs nearby are doing to attract students: last year the Uni football club were invited up by forest green for a free stadium tour and match tickets for a league game. Manor Farm have an active supporters group within the Uni and my mate at Bath tells me that Bath City did a £2 entry £2 Pint student day. Sorry that this comes off as a bit of moan, it wasn't my intention I'm just frustrated that the club seems to be overlooking the opportunity of tapping into a potential new section of the fanbase UTG

The cost for me to go is £73 if I go with the other half and the kids. That’s before buying any refreshments at all. It’s just not good value when you have a family. Conversely I can take the entire family to Mangotsfield for £16. I know there is a big difference in standard but the overall match day experience is probably better at Mangotsfield in terms of facilities, so unless there are opportunities for childcare, I can’t see me being able to attend anytime soon! Surely a family discount could help make it accessible…

Maybe now Taylor/ owners have trimmed a million plus from the wage bill there maybe more scope for better offers.
Barton, Jennings, Mangan, Whelan, Ventre, Woods, Belly, Bogarde, and Clarke's wages must have cost a pretty penny.
Obviously with pay offs we are effectively still paying them, apart from the loan deals, but the wage bill will be much lower next season so less losses, so hopefully more deals for fans

At UWE we had a couple of players come a long for a bit and we collected names, emails etc and gave out vouchers. Not sure what sort of engagement we have with the local universities now

Can't see a huge uptake on season tickets and imagine their number crunchers working on the Faithfull 4k who buy each time. Would not be surprised to see a big increase for them to cover the loss of demand

My suggestion would be to bring back the books of 'flexi tickets'. I can't attend every home match and it is expensive on a game by game basis for my son and I to attend as and when we can.
A few seasons ago there was a 5 or 10 Flexi ticket option that you bought up front at a discounted price (not as cheap as a ST per match but cheaper than match day prices).
My son and I bought 10 tickets each and ended up attending 10 matches plus a couple of pay on the day.
Since they have scrapped them we have averaged about 5 matches per season as we have gotten out of the habit, mainly due to the pay on the day price.
I know it's difficult as match day revenue helps to build the club, but surely money upfront in May/April is better than drip feeding (less) money into the club through the season. With our new larger capacity I would hope that things like this would come back.

When do the club officially put season tickets up for sale?
As regards the south stand, how much of it will be made available for the bigger away crowds?
Will it only be the terracing plus the one end section or will more be made available?
I get the feeling the south stand may well be a popular choice for season tickets, I’m thinking of getting one for me and my boy (15) although today he said he wanted to be in the Thatchers! I told him with my knees it’s nice to sit, he said Rovers fans stand up all game anyway!!
