I have just read an article concerning Tommy Widdington, young players and the Teds. Said Teds have just signed a young player from Aldershot Town, released as 16 year old by Ipswich but didn't give up and has fought back, they have paid 250,000 for him and loaned him back for season, he went there because of their reputation for developing players and giving them a chance. All this is a lesson to our own youngsters who were not given chance, don't give up, also a lesson to Rovers , if you don't give youngsters a chance they will not want to come here, as a life long Rovers fan the article does not make for enjoyable reading.

If Content signs from Grimsby then isn't he going to be doing exactly the same as the youngster City have signed from Aldershot, joining Rovers to hopefully progress his career having been shown the door by both Watford & Middlesbrough in the past? |
