Another even game that we’ve lost because we’ve got a crap goalkeeper and forwards that couldn’t finish their dinner let alone a chance in a football match.

Their goal has to go down as an error by Cox, simply should have held the ball.

Very bad. Conditions were awful, but Exeter seemed to be able to find their passes much better than us and played with more energy throughout.
I'll let others single players out, but some were just not trying tonight.

Can't defend, can't score without Martin and can't pass the ball in midfield.

Don’t see how this improves You wont get a good GK or centre backs in Jan Given we haven't ( or can't?) sent Cox back and let Belshaw leave then I very much doubt we'll be signing a goalie anyway. |

It's a cock up from top to bottom. They sacked JB and replaced him with a person who now as a record on par with Barton. They released 5 players and signed 0.
The reason they meddled was " the manager isn't competiting at top 6-8" suggesting this team is a top 8 budget. In steps Taylor who is quickly sending the club to a relegation dog fight.
If the squad is so called top 8 budget then Taylor is clearly failing. If not then the board needs to start spending because based on our recent performances its only heading one way.
I'm afraid the board is giving mixed messages !.

I don't really understand why, when chasing the game we never really got players into thier box? Another game where we looked like we played without a center forward. We really are bad at the moment, we need to get to 50 points quickly.

Let's face it Matt Taylor got lucky with Wilson finally playing a few games in a row where we picked up points.
Since he has been out we have gone worse than when we had Barton as manager.

People will hate to admit but JB was the biggest pull for us in terms of bringing players in. The football had some obvious identity too. Right now we look clueless. |
