We re going to be another Reading! I blame wael where was the due diligence, more like negligence, just ordered 3000 tennis balls and a serving machine which I can fire from Alton road!
We want our club back!
Joey ran the show, Matt Taylor cannot sign players it seems, from one extreme to the other.

Why do these posts always come after a run of bad results? Gets to a point where enough is enough. For 6 months since the new owners come in, it has been one cock up after another. Deals falling through as we were 15 seconds late. Stadium deals collapsing. Money grabbing idea of selling parts of the training ground. Ticketing fiasco. Turnstiles not working. Taking 6 weeks to hire a manager. Now we have a team that look interested. This January window has been disaster. ...even had to queue to enter an near empty bar before the game last night. Thing's are not good, how bad do things have to get. Summed it up brilliantly, and the manager now showing and saying his frustrations but Daniel is giving them to 31st August (8 points off relegation) |

They read the forum, you are not a trouble maker, we don’t need pats on the back, all of us, everyone single person on here just wants a successful side and club. If this applies pressure, we know you read this, sort out the running of out club, represent it and respect it, if not, move on. It makes me wonder why Wael chose this particular buyer. There were others but got knocked back. Isn’t that obvious? |

They were in talks to buy the club already. Do you think it's a coincidence that we started spending more and planning the be stand while the deal was going through?? Your source should have known all about that. Martin was signed after they came in. Barton was sacked and paid off, after they came in. Taylor was on a championship wage and came in after they came in. I will give them time. Things have to improve before the summer market. I will judge them, once the summer market closes. Nothing to do with my own importance or stirring, I’ve missed 7 of our 27 league this season, I just want a better run club and successful side. I stupidly got excited after the Charlton win and thought we could do something and add to the team as well on 1st Jan, 24 days on, four out and nothing. Perhaps you should show some passion and try and instigate change. Never been a fan of you, we are good pal, I’m sure it’s likewise for you, thats pretty clear. |

To be fair, I started this, mainly out of frustration at how I have been treated, how others have been treated and then what is happening in plain sight caused by one of our owners running the club in a shambolic way. The results are usually the last straw of it all and I've kept my counsel for months. I could post a whole lot more, but what would be the point? It will either be questioned, i'll be accused of having an agenda or something else, like before. I was willing to let it go but then yesterday I showed someone a text message from one of the clubs board regarding the money I was owed when he asked me if I had been paid yet, and his reply was, "that message has made me angry". I then thought, why arent I angry about it? Perhaps I should be but I couldnt get that thought out of my head. I couldnt get to the game last night but wasted a tenner on ifollow to watch it and I spent all game thinking about the utter shambles of the last 6 months, which is now being translated onto the pitch, and then I heard MTs interview this morning and I thought, this is fast becoming a cluster and I'll drop a bomb. Low and behold, a poster here, whom I've never spoken to previously PMd me to say a friend if his had the same issues and gave me some helpful advice from a professional standpoint at debt recovery. You may think I'm being a trouble maker, I'm really not, we're getting a name for ourselves, and it isnt a good one and that comes down to 1 person. Abdullatif Al Saeed. He's losing control, if he ever had any to begin with and if his old man isnt willing to pull him up on it and give him some counsel then a few more fans might make him pay attention. On your last paragraph specifically, just wondering if you have had any direct contact with any of the new owners at all or just via the business routes? It sounds like you have serious concerns with how the son is handling things but still have some faith that the father could reign it back in? Not having a dig at all or disagreeing with what you say as I have no knowledge of it just interested if you think the father has any good intentions at all? I have met both of the AS, albeit breifly, but had no personal dealings about this with the AS directly. Firstly, I always dealt with Tom, and I never had any issues with Tom. He passed the invoice to the AS, and he sent me a message saying payments to be signed off by them, which is fair. I recieved nothing. So I spoke to Wael, who was most embarassed by it, who spoke to Abullatif and who gave me a reassurance it would be paid. Abullatiff didnt do it. The father has clearly made the money, so he must be a reasonably good businessman and I'm pretty sure Wael wouldnt jump into bed with any old folk. HAS is also doing his bit financially at the moment but doesnt appear to be on the scene day to day, but I know Abdullatif and his mate who acts as some kind of finance controller have had an office built for them at the Quarters. My problem with the son is that everyone whom I have spoken to about the club, mention him to be the problem (Not Wael or Tom, third parties) and if hes the day to day man for running the club including being the one responsible for hiring and firing, then hes the one making a cats arse out of it. Perhaps the old man isnt aware of these things? If not, he might be now. I have done quite a bit of brokerage around the football world for players and execs and one thing I've learnt is that people talk and very few lie, because its not worth it. You'll get found out. It certainly coobaorates with what Roadman says and as Roadman will tell you, who also works in the football industry, people talk and dont lie because you get found out. |

The deal isn’t dead.

I'm usually pretty sceptical with rumours of unrest but reading through this is a real worry, there's too much evidence to show that things aren't at all rosy for it all to be nothing.
Part of me thinks they still have a week to convince us that it's all under control but I'm fast coming to the conclusion that its far from that. There was a definite sense of a growing frustration last night, if we get to Saturday with no additions & potentially Martin having signed elsewhere I genuinely think things could get toxic.
If that happens I hope it is directed at the owners rather than manager & players who quite obviously need a bit of help
