You may well be right that it wouldn't work out at Rovers specifically but spare me the hyper-individualist philosophy - communal ownership can and does work in multiple situations. And blocks of flats aren't 'communal living' any more than a terraced street is. Triggered leftie alert initiated. I try to avoid your posts, because of many reasons. However, after a couple of glasses of something very pleasant this afternoon...sod it. You're not a very good wind up merchant.

Losing to Exeter last night further reminds me that as time goes on the more I see fan ownership as the perfect fit for our club. Hate all this reliance on random moneymen. m No thanks. We would be out of business within about 2 years. If we’re losing £2M a year, even if you got the faithful 5,000 to pay that’s £400 a year which would never happen. People moan about £25 on a match day and £5 for a pint. That’s not to even mention the infighting of fans wanting a manager gone, another wanting him in, some wanting a “kick it FERWARDS” approach. When something is owned by everyone, it is owned by no-one. It’s the same reason communal living accommodation like blocks of flats fall into disrepair. Nobody puts in the care or time to improve it because really, nobody owns it and nobody wants to put money and time into something unless everyone else does That is a very good analogy and pretty spot on

Playing devil's advocate but what if they sell AC for £350K and then just sign a couple of young loan players? I personally can't see AC going for decent money or we'd have heard rumours from the likes of Alan Nixon to try and bump up his transfer fee. Why on earth would the top creator and current holder of POTY in L1 with 18 months left on his contract not go for decent money?! Happy to be proven wrong when we know the fee but what is your logic based on out of interest? I am guessing his poor behaviour would put some of the more decent clubs off. Kind of reminds me of what happened with Mustapha Carayol accept azza has not been saying anything like what he was.

Buying club sees it as a compliment i reckon!

I would not be too keen on a player who becomes a primadonna, when he gets dropped but you could well be right

Taylor was very clever to deflect the attention of him and his poor run of losing games pre oxford game by staking him to a post for the hyenas to go after.

I’d have thought that keeping it in house would have been the clever thing rather than tell all that he has made himself unavailable. It negates all of the others things, just my opinion. Personally I’d rather he got back his form and we kept him but it is pretty evident the player wants gone

That is a very good analogy and pretty spot on Careful, the militant tendency are mobilised on this one! I can be , very easily, considered left of centre but somethings transcend all of that. I have seen what some blocks are run like and liked it purely on that.
