Just picked up from their website
Following last Saturday’s match against Blackpool, we received a number of messages regarding the state of the toilet facilities at the Memorial Stadium.
Most of these messages concerned the facilities at the North Terrace / Thatchers End but we are aware that problems have also been experienced in other parts of the ground and that problems have existed for some time.
We are also aware that the PA system could not be heard in a number of areas of the stadium on Saturday and which, also, has been an ongoing problem.
In addition a number of supporters have expressed concern about the cost of match day tickets and feel that they are prohibitive and prevent many of them from attending every match.
We wanted to advise you that all of these issues have been taken up with the Football Club and we are delighted to provide an update on the core issues raised.
The club says that there is an awareness of the ongoing problems with the toilets , especially at the northern end of the stadium. A brand new toilet block was installed at the start of the season increasing the quality of the number of units available for supporters. However, over recent weeks an issue with the supporter supply has been identified and the club are investigating the best means to access the underground pipe work to resolve the issue.
We have been assured that work will continue to find an acceptable solution to the matter as soon as possible.
Similarly, the maintenance staff will be attempting to improve the situation regarding the PA System. The new PA System in the South Stand is working well and the club are working with the supplier to explore options to improve the North Terrace to the same standard.
With regard to the cost of match day facilities , we were pleased to learn that for both the matches against Exeter and Oxford will see a number of South Stand tickets priced at £10 and the club has pledged to look into the pricing structure for tickets moving forward.
We will of course keep you informed of any developments/progress made on any of these topics and will continue to work with the Football Club on your behalf.
We are delighted to have an agreement in place for a meeting of supporters with Abdullatif, Tom Gorringe, Matt Taylor and a member of the playing staff. The meeting will be held at the Memorial Stadium next month and full details will be publicised on our website very shortly.
Not only will it give supporters an opportunity to meet one of our new owners and our manager for the first time, it will also be a chance to receive any further feedback that you have directly.

Good that the club is taking onboard feedback.

If there are supporters stuck in an underground pipe then this surely needs to be addressed. Particularly if this is having an adverse impact on attendances.

I guess that's one way of reducing criticism 😂

I would say the pipes are named Tom, Dick and Harry. Realistically Rod, Jane and Freddy. Did you know that Jane was married twice? To Rod, then Freddy

Have asked on X / Twitter about attending the ‘Open’ fans forum.
It’s restricted to SC Members only. 🤦♂️

The bogs at Rovers are disgusting... needs sorting out. Puddles of water everywhere - wincing every time I have to touch the tap.
Not sure whats going on with some of our fans anatomy too, looks like some of us have a Hozee sprinkler attachment on the end of our pork swords.... Maybe it was Arron Collins actually, he hasn't aimed well for months.

This will be the third time. Easy toilets are slippery and dangerous. On the East Terrace you can’t hear the PA from where I stand, so any safety information wouldn’t be heard if needed.

A lot of the issues are with the people using them, i.e. they haven't been properly toilet trained, they pizz on the floor, pizz on the seats in cubicles, don't pull the flush, leave toilet paper and paper towels everywhere and worst of all, many don't wash their hands - disgusting!

Have you approached him directly by email? If you have and received no answer then that is poor. If you’ve just asked a question on here then if he hasn’t seen it….. But I’m sure the problem has been a long standing one and considering he was on here asking for support at election time then it’s a tad poor if he isn’t reading this place and making sure he’s a step ahead of fans and their concerns. And I would have thought that as the fans rep on the BoD he’d be on here giving updates as a means to communicating as well as the other things he does. I maybe expecting too much but I don’t think my expectations are that demanding. We haven’t heard from him since the takeover have we or have I just missed it? UTG!

TBF Wareham, he is regularly online here, was last on seventeen hours ago but rarely posts, He was also online when the previous thread appeared about the Fans Director a few weeks back, I specifically checked. I emailed Tom Gorringe about the ticketing issue where you can’t buy an Under 14 ticket on its own, explaining my personal issue for my Son, I am a Season ticket holder along with my other Son. He failed to even reply. He has previously replied to other emails (two) Lost confidence and the interest is waiting with the dross that has been on the pitch this season, Evans, Ward, Finley, Taylor and Thomas excluded.

Sadly, I have to agree Somerset. Where are you Slam? I’m sorry but you were a regular member/poster on here but rarely post now and more importantly rarely update us with anything the Supporters Club does. The SC has lost an awful lot of it’s kudos the last few years and desperately needs some positivity.

Somerset, I wasn’t doubting you at all. Just replying to your post. The lack of a reply or acknowledgment is poor and even rude esp when fans are trying to resolve a ticketing issue. Experience tells me the longer you fail to reply to anything the harder it gets. Face up, answer the problem and try and resolve it. And as we all know it’s never the original problem that gets you, it’s the failure to do anything, sweep it under the carpet or even cover it up that gets you into deeper trouble.Things sound pretty bad re communication at the moment in the club. Good luck in resolving your issue Somerset. 👍 UTG! UTG!

Admittedly on my work phone which I struggle with as it’s Android ! All I want to do is to be able to buy a ticket for my son online before I go to a game as he has learning issues, he makes last minute decisions, I can buy him an adult one no problem, but not one for his age without visiting the shop. Tom Gorringe couldnt reply to that email. Surely in this day and age there must be a way to link a season ticket holder to buying a ticket. Also of note an adult could still most likely get through the turnstiles on the East Side as the turnstile people are mostly operating two turnstiles and pay little attention to what is going on.
