Any news on Connor Taylor? . Looked like an innocuous type of challenge from guy running behind him and didn’t really see any contact.

Both Grant and Taylor are expected to miss Saturday's game against Oxford, though at the very least and the hope will be of course that they can return to action as soon as possible. For Taylor, it sounded relatively positive, or at least more so than what was initially feared, but Grant's issues sounded like more of a concern. "Unknown as yet," the Rovers boss admitted when asked about the pair's injuries. "But nothing requires surgery with Connor which was the worry and that was a big worry when he left the ground on Tuesday. Anyone who was at the Norwich replay saw him jar that knee a little bit on a back tackle and he probably felt it in the Blackpool game and then early on against Exeter.
"So it’s been a bit of a niggle. Our fear with knees is whether it’s ligament or cartilage related. It seems to be bone related which can sometimes take longer than the injuries I’ve mentioned but there’s no surgical repair needed straight away so that’s a positive.
"It’ll be when the pain subsides. If there’s a bit of swelling he’ll probably have a bit of fluid taken off his knee but the fact that it’s a bone injury gives us a bit more hope."
My non-medically-advanced verdict is two weeks?

Grant's "nicked" his calf which sounds like a 6 week minimum lay off, I'd imagine Taylor will be out for at least a couple of weeks if they have to drain his knee?
