Ward 9 m o m almost perfect debut, a clean sheet would have been cherry. An encouraging start. Welcome.
Crama 9 my m o m until save of the season. Excellent bullying of their strikers, we saw pushing and infringement off the ball ref never picked up on and consequently had the beating of his opponent all match.
Wilson 8 brilliant welcome back some timely tackles and cool head.
Friend 8 great performance on that side nothing got past him.
Thomas 8.5 trickery again and great goal.
Finley 8.5 high energy from captain majestic where he took responsibility at both ends to save a goal and set up one, amongst some blade covering engine play.
Conteh 7 nice debut, steady, kept ball moving and no misplaced passes. Looks to be a decent acquisition and encouraging start.
Evans 6.5 better when pushed forward and even had audacity to back heel a flick second half!?
Hunt 7.5 nice contribution much like Friend to shore up that flank threat. Enjoyed the head down flat out through ball for him to run on to a la Carlisle away.
Vale 7 pleased he took his goal well, and general threat in a new role that sees him playing a bit more freely, but he did hit one that properly bothered the chicken jerk guy, or more worryingly, orbit.
Martin 8 his goalscoring prowess from anywhere, with anything is invaluable. We don't know how lucky we are, but it's down to his hard work. He's earned it, take a bow.....all the plaudits are going to other people on this match - all the while CM quietly goes about his business of scoring important goals at important times.

Gordon 6 gave one ball away to set up an attack, but nice to see him on.

Ref 8 actually done very well, esp on his card issuing.
Oxford 6 really liked their no16 a bit of a handful and of course no8 whom might be a sheeeeeedhead in February.
But over all, disappointed.
They had some flank players injured, but so have we in recent matches, and never got going. That's credit to us and well done MT for picking the right players in right positions to give them a tough afternoon.
I've seen us outplay Oxford twice this season, but only recoup 3 points..... it's generally encouraging.

Ward           9 Didn't do a thing Wrong, no chance for the deflected Goal.

Crama         8 Solid Performance as well. He is looking Great back there
Wilson         7 Did well, got dragged out of position a few times, but good to have him back. 
Friend         8.5 Thought he was outstanding. Like he had never been away. Read the Game really well and muscled everyone off the Ball. 

Thomas       7 Worked hard, a little wasteful in possession some time but took his goal well. 
Finley          6 ran around like mad, more chaos then organised! gave the ball away too much.
Conteh        7  A decent debut. No Frills and did well. looked a couple of times to not quite be up with play but he will get used to the pace of the league soon. 
Evans         7 A decent enough showing. again nothing of note stands out but worked hard. 

Hunt           6 I am stuggling to see what all the hype is, he did okay but wasteful in possesion and not much quality going forwards. 
Vale           6  Took his Goal well, but i think 90 % of the people on here would bury that. Really wasteful in possesion and thought he looked every bit a league 1 player not higher

Martin         7  Did his Job, caused problems and help up play well. He loves a battle and i like watching him play. 

Connolly - 6  did okay when he came on.
Gordon -  6   Again did a job and looked lively.
