D Cheltenham Town. W Bolton Wanderers. L Blackpool W Portsmouth W Charlton Athletic. L Wycombe Wanderers. L Barnsley L Blackpool L Exeter City. W Oxford United.
We've lost more matches than won. But he's on course for five more wins and a draw that would see us safe in this league next season.
That sprinkled with two cup exits, how would you rank our new manager in his first 10 games, out of 10?
I'll say, 5 Those are the matches we haven't lost.
An encouraging off field temperament and soothing non blame game (atm) interviews make me lean towards more as he comes across as monotone, but likable.
What about you?

He’s has a horrible set of selection issues.
I’m not distilling this into a score. Really you can only judge a manager over at least a year.

I think a 6 would be fair.
Some of the performances, away at Bolton, Home to Pompey and yesterday v Oxford have been excellent, all against sides in the top 6
In typical Rovers style it's the teams that are in dreadful form that we let ourselves down and lose to.
His press conferences and interviews are impressive so far too.

5 from me, we’ve lost games we shouldn’t have, the style of football is not great and he’s boring.
On the plus side, boring isn’t necessarily bad given what we had previously. We’ve also had some really good results and to be honest he needs time to develop this squad to what he wants. That was always an issue changing managers mid season.
He’s kinda got a free rein from now to the end of the season. I’m expecting a better style and more consistent performances from our players

He’s has a horrible set of selection issues. I’m not distilling this into a score. Really you can only judge a manager over at least a year. Exactly, lets see how he is doing six months into next season. He has only just signed his first player, doesn't have his own coaching team and no scouting, head of recruitment, DoF at the club. He favours a formation where we don't necessarily have the right players to play. Thomas and Vale as wing backs for example. Loosing experienced players to injury (Wilson, Friend, Ward etc). That coupled with the fact its been two games a week non stop for a while now which has taking its toll of some players, as well as an illness which has gone round. What is clear though, that our best eleven (when everyone if fit) is a very decent side, as we saw with the wins at Bolton and home to Portsmouth. __PRESENT

7 from me. Horrendous run of fixtures (Exeter aside) and loads of injuries.

Will only comment on Games I watched. Cheltenham: 6, decent spirit in a weather ruined pitch + mangs out taylor in just 48 hours before. Bolton: no commemt, did not watch. Blackpool: no commemt, did not watch. Portsmouth: 8.5. I think its the only match we've where we won the emotions of the match and the overall battle. Charlton: 8. Looked great going forward. Responded well, but error let them back Wycombe: 6. First glimpse into Taylors team without a physical presence in midfield. Lost the battle and the emotionally chased things without establishing a presence. Decent fight back. Barnsley: 6.5. Collective brain loss. A shame to play that well away from home and come away with nothing. Just so dopey. Blackpool: no comment, did not go. Exeter: 2, some individuals did ok. But largely beaten by a team we are significantly better than. Oxford: 7, comfortable but not fantastic.

Conducted himself admirably
No excuses when we lose
I like him, I’ll judge him when he has the players he has signed playing his way
Players definitely playing for him, no toys thrown out after JB left, shown he’s not afraid to give our youngsters a chance.

Don’t think I can put a score on him but I’m convinced he will do very well for us if we back him.
If we don’t we might not meet our goals but we’ll be in safe hands.

Come into a club with an overrated weak squad, first 11 top 6, rest of it bang mid table average.
Already transformed players like Finley and Evans, much improved both of them.
Came into a club with no football department and scouting, January 1st not one signing, took him 25 days to do it.
Steadied the ship, players like Belshaw seeked professional help for bullying, the “idiot” Thomas looks a lot happier.
United the whole fans base bar a couple of Barton Supporters left.
We finished 17th last season, let’s see where we finish this season, signs looking good for next season. Finally making brave decisions like playing Jed Ward yesterday, things looking up.

6.5 for me. Always difficult coming into a club half through the season . Had some really bad luck with injuries. Should have ditched Cox 3 games earlier. Change of formation to our credit and I like his first signing. Confident he’ll get us challenging next season.

I suppose the idea is to map the voyage of discovery from seminal arbitrary points in the journey. Innocent enough, but understand it's not everyone's cup of tea . Talking yesterday in real world, everyone had an opinion as 10 league matches offering top middle and bottom opponents.

Far to early to judge,to many off field problems which Don't help him. I'm happy with him personally,no moaning, blaming everyone else, which I'm sure reflects in officals performances against us. Back him and I think he could be another DC.
