Thought he had a really good game, not just his goal of the season but his all round play. Very skilful, happy to tackle and get stuck in and thought his interview was absolutely charming. Fair play to the young man and very good luck for the rest of his time with the Gas and most importantly his future career. And to cap the lot, his friends and family putting money in the coffers of our club watching ifollow.

Enjoyed his interview post-match. After a few months here I'm sure he'll pick up a Bristolian accent to take back to Costal Rical. Worked well for the Columbian at Newcastle.

As I mentioned in your matchday thread the other days guys, you've got a real talent there and I said enjoy him.
I watched your game today with our game being tomorrow. You can see the quality well beyond L1 level, the obvious goal and the way he'll spray passes side to side and as I mentioned previously, the ability to see other passes that others don't.
A solid start and he'll get better as he understands the dynamics and his teammates.
Great win for you today and I must say your keeper pulled off some absolute heriocs. If we knew you had him we should have insisted on it being a swap deal 😉. He's miles better than ours and he's not known as "jigsaw" without good reason

No goalie's stopping that shot! I wonder what other L1 manager's will be thinking when they see that goal?

Nice to hear MT saying he deliberately played Brandon in a deep role so he could see all the game in front of him as it was his first start in league one.

I thought he looked brilliant today. Read the game well, passed it well, sprayed it long into the channels when he needed, a brilliant goal and most importantly he seemed up for the nasty side of the game.

Did more in 90 minutes today than Collins has done in a while for us. Aaron played well today and got an assist for Bolton so that’s good for him too. All in all I think it’s been a very productive window. We’ve made a profit and look stronger than we did when it opened.

You can see why clubs use the loan market, Aaron Collins will cost you £750k and a player like aguillera prob costs clubs nothing other than wage contributions and let’s face it, Aaron couldn’t hold a candle to Brandon ability wise. He’s streets ahead of him at 20

I accept he has not performed well for a while but was still good enough to win EFL player of the season, 3 goals and 9 assists was not such a disastrous season. I hope like all, that Aguilera proves to be a fantastic signing and helps get us to the play offs but a bit early after one game to make a comparison. Let’s recognise that Aaron was a Gashead through and through and for two seasons gave us plenty of moments like today.

Reading the Nottingham Forest forum. Looks like a few followed the game. My favourite quote:- Holy sh** it was an absolute thunderSpecial lady garden pi55 missile of a goal. Another quote:- If it hadn't have gone in, someone behind the goal dies.

Watching just the Sky Sports highlights AC could have well had another assist if his teammate hadn't wasted the chance and it needed a good save from the goalie to stop him scoring on his debut. Before his arrival Barnsley should have had a hat full of goals. I wouldn't be surprised if he was Bolton's MotM!

Gosh you know you're getting old when a very youthful face can play football like that, and hit a goal like that, effect a game like that and handle himself post match like that!
I'd be absolutely buzzing..
Good on him and what a future he has from humble , stable foundations he finds himself in.

Watching from the terrace I was amazed by Brandon's technical ability, his shape and balance for the goal was dob on, he will undoubtedly be a gem during his short stay until the end of the season; Jed again, playing behind a very good defence, was again outstanding, cannot see Cox playing again, unless Jed picks up a knock; pleased to hear Azza played well when coming on from the bench yesterday, will be keeping an eye on him and wishing him well, that night on the Gloucester Road, that's what memories of following the Gas are made of.

Not wishing to sully this thread with the former managers name but one of his plus points we were gonna miss was the ability to bring in a young star on loan. Seems we haven’t lost that after all.

Fair play to the lad, no theatrics when fouled especially when wacked in the back off the ball early on. Wonder what he thought to the pace of the game. If he plays Tues a new test with the threat of wind and rain effecting the game.
Going to be interesting watching him over the coming weeks.
Also Vaughan looked to have some speed on him.
