Finally back to follow up the Norwich Away & FA Cup 4th round draw MDT successes!
Feel like we owe Exeter one for that truly abysmal performance merely 10 days ago. Plus the fact we never seem to beat them.
A few have been moved on, a few have arrived & a couple are back from injury with a few more hours on the grass down at the quarters. Hopefully another confident and solid display at both ends of the pitch (to prove the Oxford win was corner turned & no flash in the pan result) with the new lads hopefully showing what they’re all about with whatever time they’re given.
Exeter 0 - 2 Gas
A clean sheet for Jed, another for Martin and a debut goal for the Costa Rican fella.
Safe and pleasant journey to all of those travelling down.

1-2 gas. Happy that we start same 11 as last week and slowly introduce a few second half provided they are on bench 😳

They were worst team to visit the mem. We've got to right that wrong.
I think we're going to bang up for revenge. 5-1 Gas.

The Devon side are full of confidence.
They have identified a core of players that are constantly selected.
They have been hard to beat at SJP but do not score too many.
We are lambs to the slaughter. NOT.
Expect 5 or 6 changes to our team from our last encounter.
They might be in for an unpleasant surprise.
Revenge is sweet. 2-0 to the Northern lads.

Hope we build on the Oxford game and make up for that awful performance against Exeter. With a stronger defence and midfield and some exciting options off the bench I think we will. Exeter 0 Gas 3 - Martin 2, Evans (pen)

Excited for this one!
In 30 years following Rover's off to St James's Park for the first time.
How have I never been before! I shall be on the 10:54 from Temple Meads
Revenge needed for the worst home game of the season!
Expect to see first clean sheet and comfortable win!
Red & white Stripes 0 - Gas 3

Probably a 1-1 draw today, earlier in the season would of been confident of 3 points but this is an Exeter team full of confidence.

As we know, on our day we can beat the best. For some strange reason, I just feel we are beginning a set of results that will soon fire the hope of all of us. Time for a clean sheet and a few goals. 2-0 to the gas.

The weather didn't help either side on the day, they did follow up that win with a 2 1 win at Barnsley though. So it's not going to be a walk in the park. With Taylor returning, they will be up for the game. I'm going for a 2 2 draw, like last season. If everyone is fit, I would start with same team as last week. Friend means we can switch from 3 to 4 at the back, depending on how the game goes. Wilson will be up for the game and will probably get some stick, being ex Plymouth. It will be nice to have a lot of attacking options on the bench and some fresh legs. First time we have had no mid week game in a while as well.

First goal is crucial today but confident we can take our revenge 1-2.
(3-4-2-1): Jed Ward; James Wilson, Tristan Crama, George Friend; Jack Hunt, Sam Finley, Kamil Conteh, Harvey Vale; Luke Thomas, Antony Evans; Chris Martin. One of the new boys off the bench to seal a late winner. 😉

We beat Oxford - great , if we can beat Exeter today then follow that up with a win at home on Tuesday then I’ll start to believe we can do it as that would most likely put us about 6-10 points off of 6th. Anything other than 6 points from those two games and those tiny play off hopes well and truly gone.

Time to get our season back on track. A draw would be a decent result but a win would be brilliant. Come on Gas.
