No it's worse than that, you completely bottled making a prediction and argued with my "clearly a mid table finish". Egg firmly on ya face socrates 😛 You either need help or you need to be in bed soon for school tomorrow either way I really can’t be arsed with any more discussion with you. My 10 year old daughter is more grown up than you are. Thankfully there isn’t anyone else on here as childish and irritating as you and this forum is generally a good place to discuss and debate all things Rovers. Take care and try not to drink any bleach. Best not bite socrates. He’s a wind up merchant and relies on ‘bites’. After the Exeter win, with that goal from Aguileiro we looked ok. And, as you said, win those two up coming home games and things could have been very different. This place would have gone into positive mode with rich leading the way. Quite rightly as well. As it was we lost both of them and remain completely mid-table. You were correct. Fine lines eh? UTG!

Talking of Exeter, they have picked up of late wheras Muff like us are on a losing non scoring streak.Exeter were at home to Burton last game and so few visiting fans, the away end was almost empty. Visited Exeter's excellent training set up and they really involve the community there.

I think the main issue is that she clearly isn’t a rovers fan or related to our club in anyway. For the past decade we’ve become accustomed to commentary from people who care about the club. The main issue is the cut backs which means that the trained journalists do not get employed because they are too expensive and we have to rely on part timers or inecxperienced but enthusiastic kids learning on the job. The longer term situation will get worse because the proper profssionals are being forced out of the industry and lower standards will become the norm and accepted as being par for the course.

"Try not to drink any bleach" made me laugh a little more than it should. 😁🏴☠️ Up there with 'go and play with the traffic'

I’m not a fan of hers. But she is qualified. She has degrees in journalism, been on different radio stations for the last six or so years. If that doesn’t qualify her for the job what does? It does feel forced though, I called this when Yeovil got relegated. I knew it would somehow end in a promotion for her.

The one on the home commentary wasnt a lot better. Lots of 'ooohs' and 'ahhhs'. 'ooohs' and 'ahhhs' are we still talking about the same thing? Thinking about it, I guess that could have been a 'pop up' while on a illegal stream

That's a fair point and completely different from complaints about her 'screechy' voice. I just think there's a significant number of men who roll their eyes, sigh, shrug and say 'women commentators, what can you do?' It's a slightly veiled form of misogyny and a feeling of being threatened by women infiltrating the game. You know who you are. There are 2 things I dislike about her commentary. Firstly how excited she sounds when the opposition scores. She sounds happy! Male or female I want them to sound at least slightly despondent when we concede. Secondly the tonality of her voice when she gets excited. I find it difficult to listen to. If a man had the same voice I would dislike their tonality equally. It’s pretty lazy to label that dislike of her commentary as a form of misogyny. During Covid when people had no choice to attend, lots of people remarked about how they didn’t enjoy Keith Brookman as he was too monotone and showed too much bias. Nobody said people were being sexist or ageist etc, it’s just people’s preferences being discussed. Spot on ! 💙
