After a defeat it is easy to play the blame game. Read the comments a week ago and it was so different!
I know we had an absolutely fickle ref using delaying tactics at the start of the game that would make Shrewsbury proud, but how quiet was it at the start of the game yesterday.
Whatever the results in the next two matches the Carlisle result will be massive. Let's do our bit by creating an intimidating atmosphere for the Carlisle players. (Rather than toxic for our own). They used to say we were the 12th man, well lets prove that.
If we were their during covid to show our support things may have been different. At least we have an opportunity to support the club now.
Oh and no doubt there are fans saying why should I bother. If the players showed that attitude we would be down. Don't do as I say not do as I do.
Let's get behind them, Twerton spirit and all that.
Ps maybe singing we've got another "not very good" ref twice before the 3rd minute maybe didn't help. Obviously blocking their player 30 yards away from the ball is not allowed, but is perfectly acceptable when they do it when we are running onto the ball on the edge of the area !!
