Tough away game on a cold Tuesday night.
Hoping we have some of our harder nosed players back who can cope with a tough team who will come at us from the off.
Off of the back of two dire performances surely we will have more grit and determination tonight.
Hoping for a tight 4-4-2 formation as not convinced we have strong enough wing backs …
Hard to predict but going for a draw.

Probably good we are away next two games. But two more defeats and god help the atmosphere on our return to the mem. Hoping a couple of returnees and a firing Brown can knick us a point. Would love to see us start 4 at the back
Ward Hoole Wilson Crama Gordon Conteh Evans Aguilera Thomas Martin Brown

As you say hard to call and hard to see anything other than a draw at best, but form says loss - hope for more, 🤔

Tough tough match tonight.
Jamie Reid has scored 21 in 37 this season.
They have only lost at Home to Wycombe Wanderers, Reading and Oxford United this season.
Can we add to this M4 list? Maybe.
Most likely a 2-1 defeat.
Two from JR and one from CM.

I’m strangely more optimistic of a result tonight than if we were playing one of the bottom six at home. I’ll go for a 2-1 win - Martin and Aguilera on the scoresheet.

Heavy rain due in Stevenage before kick off.
I'll go with my head on this one
2-1 loss
Goal from Martin

Would love to be wrong but think they'll be too strong for us, I'm usually optimistic but without Ward and Finley in the middle we re considerably weaker.
Expecting a 2 0 defeat, with Steve Evans dancing along the touchline!

Got a bad feeling it's a defeat , think Martin will bag one , but they are stronger than us and any good news for us would mean them not bringing their A game.

Raining and heavy pitch are not good signs for the gas. We couldn’t handle Fleetwood or Burton . But being an optimistic Gashead I’m going to say we will be backs to the wall and under heavy pressure but Martin sneaks a last minute goal against the run of play. 1-0 Gas UTG

How many times have we played Stevenage, where we've been the underdog? Tonight we will be. I don't like SE but you have to give him credit, he's turned Stevenage into potential Championship candidates on far less a budget we pay out.
Can't see anything other than a regulation defeat 1 or 2-0. Castrated-Foreskin will have a field day tonight. He looked pretty useful down here.
Safe journey for all those brave souls travelling, but I thoroughly expect us to be in second half of the division by 10 pm tonight

After what were perceived as two home 'bankers' we have what looks like a real toughie away. I am always concerned when fans expectations go through the roof when following a good away win they see 6 points from two 'easy' home games, this is Rovers and we rarely follow the script so i expect nothing less than a ' confound' the critics ' performance ending with a positive result for Rovers. come on Rovers!

We usually perform better against the good teams, but I have fears that Stevenage will be far too strong and direct for us. Their play is pretty much the anti-Rovers

Looking forward to see how they man up, after two embarrassing home performances, need to be competitive, compete, make your tackles, headers, pick up the second balls and get on the front foot. If we can turn up to support them, surely they can at least give 100%.

If we have Martin and Hunt back tonight I'd be a lot more confident.
Yes, we've been tripe in the last 2 games, well 2.5 games - but its not helped we have been savaged by injuries.
Hoping for a draw, but think we will get turned over - as Gassy says, Stevenage are anti Rovers.

This lot are very decent at set pieces, will have to try and stop conceding as many of them as possible

We can’t seem to play in the rain as they’re a bunch of wimps. Can’t see anything here but a defeat here and on Saturday for that matter ( if recent performances continue ) it’s going to be a bleak end of the season with the atmosphere at the mem turning rather sour. Apologies for my pessimism.
