Former Gas Striker Bo Henriksen has been given the managers job at Mainz. Bo follows in the foot steps of Jurgen Klopp and Thomas Tuchel in managing Die Nullfünfer.  |

Only 4 games for Rovers, but very important ones.
Justifyably, Andy Rammell gets the credit for keeping us in the league at the end of the 2002/3 season, but Bo deserves was also instrumental in the escape act that season.
Exeter and Shrewsbury were relegated from the Football League, Swansea also finished below us before scaling the heights of the Premier League and Rushden and Diamonds were 4th tier Champions.

Different seasons - Rammell was brought in by Graydon.
Henrikson by Atkins (working behind the scenes) with Osman as caretaker.
Both terrible seasons in League 2 though!

Henriksen was one of 4 bought in around March ‘04. Others not mentioned were Ali Gibb & Danny Williams. Love to say great times but it really was grim for Gasheads  |

Was the 4th player Aaron Lescott?
Turned out to be the best of the four for us at least.

Was the 4th player Aaron Lescott? Turned out to be the best of the four for us at least. The five players signed in March 2004 were Aaron Lescott, Danny Williams, Bo Henriksen, Ali Gibbs and John Anderson. SourceI thought Williams made the most difference in those few games and was disappointed when unlike Gibbs, Lescott and Anderson he decided not to prolong his stay at the Mem. |

We used to have fans forum matches on the morning of Saturday games against opposition fans. One year Bo was out of contract and without a club, he played against our fans team for Kidderminster fans team
We got stuffed!

My least favourite was Posh fans Away around the mid 00’s, game abandoned after one of their lads went up for a header and broke his collar bone when he hit the deck. The sound of it was 🤮🤢 Great times playing other clubs fans though, was always good fun. |
