I have had a season ticket for nearly 20 years and attend a few away games a season too so this pains me to say it but I am starting to fall out of love with this club.
The match day experience is no longer that enjoyable (not just because of the results on the pitch!) with the toilets, food and drink facilities shocking and whilst I am not as effected as some on here (no kids etc), the lack of financing and the increase for certain age groups is frankly disgusting during what are already challenging times financially.
The new owners seem so incredibly out of touch with the realities of the average Bristolian supporting a L1 club and I am sure this will hit the club hard financially with a drop in sales both this season and longer term with what the dark half of the city offer and for so so much less drawing in the younger fans.
This whole thing needs a major rethink and straight away.

You'd assume the CEO is involved. Another Gorringe Disasterclass. I would be highly surprised if he was involved in the pricing.

Surely this is where the Fan Directors come into their own - or am I being naive? They, if they still exist, must raise these issues with whoever is making these decisions and raise all the legitimate concerns raised. If they do and are not listened to then what is the point of their role? They appear to be a waste of space, at least BSS made himself very visible when in the role a few years ago, that has clearly gone downhill since his time. I would suggest it’s better to contact the likes of TG directly. As an example for those who didn’t see my post on the South stand thread last week, here’s a gist of what happened. I decided I wished to change my ST from the WE to the new stand. I phoned the shop and in no uncertain terms was told I had to visit the shop on a non matchday as it could not be done over the phone. I pointed out that would require me to make a two hundred mile round trip, but was told the rule was hard and fast. I immediately emailed Tom and he replied in minutes, told me Pete would contact me regarding same. Within no time at all I was told to visit the club shop on the last matchday and last Saturday I did and the changeover was done. The club accepted it was not acceptable for long distance fans to have to travel outwith of a matchday to do the changeover. BSS was very open about the role he had and just had enough of being a director in name only. I always enjoyed talking with him and the e-mails. I think it’s a loss to the club to not have him onboard, his role was one with no power to change anything. I do not know if the share scheme is still going but I’d suggest it needs to stop and also not have figurehead fans directors, who have had no power and for many years. slam is not at fault when no one listens or acts on anything he would say

I wonder if anyone at the club will be reading these pages? Will there be a realisation they’ve made a massive mistake and misread the fanbase? A Tory style U-Turn incoming 😂 In the words of GGMI. BOOM!

You'd assume the CEO is involved. Another Gorringe Disasterclass. I believe his role has been downgraded. I only say this because others have written of this. I also believe new owners son is now , supposedly, doing what TG had in his remit. Obviously, I could be wrong

u11 should be free. It's the bond that needs to be created not stealing their pocket money.long term thinking? Nah grab what we can now The problem with doing it for free, is lots get them, even if their child doesn't like football and then it takes up a space still, when they decide not to go the majority of the time. Although,I have seen other clubs say if they don't turn up, or sell their ticket on the exchange over 3 times, then they will lose their ticket. Or something along those lines. Hopefully the club will have a rethink, we need to have children tickets. Very short sighted of the club. I, along with many others, started going with my father and brothers. Football was considered a good afternoons entertainment and at a price most were able to pay. I know football has changed and is unrecognisable to how it was but without getting kids hooked then we really are looking , in my opinion, at the beginning of the end. I know it seems a dramatic statement but we have the 82 in the championship, those that wish to go will be drawn there. what a bloody state

Will they ever learn , another season another season ticket fiasco .
I cannot believe how badly ran this club is . its really not that hard to see where we need to strengthen as a fan base , just look what they do down the road .
TG and co just don't get it do they , make kids tickets cheap they have to bring their parents / guardians , burger , bag of chips , quick pop to the rovers shop £££££ every week . instead no lets make it too expensive and watch them go down the gate ...
No finance option which for most folk is the only way to buy a season ticket !
Shambles after shambles after shambles
TG was the commercial director, how has he signed this off ?

What do we want? A squad capable of challenging for promotion
When do we want it? now
When there are little other income streams than gate receipts are we prepared to pay for it? God no, isn’t there a magic money tree somewhere.

God no, isn’t there a magic money tree somewhere. Yeah, f**k the kids! Seriously though, 7 years after the AQ purchase where are the new revenue streams? What's been done to generate new income? Fifth highest Adult ST price and highest Kids ST price in arguably the worst facilities. No, there isn't a magic money tree but, if you do nothing of note to increase income it's the support that gets hit.
